"Abyss" - Contour and line study

Hi, this is a piece I've done for a university project where we had to use only black markers/pens and incorporate contour drawings of animal skulls and bones. This is 18"x20" and done with a set of Prismacolor Premier pens. I would love any and all critiques you can give me on this.

PS - Sorry for the horrible picture quality. My camera skills are lacking.

Very nice piece...I have no real critique to offer. I suppose you could create more contrast between the "geometric" forms and the "organic" ones by drawing the "geometric" ones in Adobe Illustrator rather than with a pen--right now they still feel hand-drawn.

Also, the Brightness and Contrast tools in Photoshop are very useful for punching up poorly-lit photos. Might want to look into that.
