I still really like your work & will get a painting by you for my apt (when that occurs).
I like the provocative feel of Renishaw. How it looks like she's sightly hidden and peering out from some hidden area.
If you don't mind my asking, what are your rates? I'm thinking about an Xmas gift for a friend.
USEFUL STUFF!

Lovely as ever. My fav it The Blue Girls.
Omenspirits: It's really wonderful you like the work Omen - 'Renishaw' was a picture about a happy memory, a beautiful day spent walking around a stately home with my mother. As for your Xmas buddy, they must be very special as my prices are steepish and have to be kept consistent throughout the galleries that show my work. A typical 45cm x 35cm painting is £1,800 (can't be certain what that is in Dollars or Euros). Put your money into that apartment!
Nevertheless, it's always an honour to have someone who wants to actually live with one's work. In an ideal world (one where I didn't need money...) the only criterion as to who gets the paintings would be those who appreciate them - and sod the money!
Black Spot: Thanks Ms Spot! 'Blue Girls' is my favourite too, though the recent painting is very, very close. As I said, it can be seen in the flesh at the ROI Mall Galleries show.
PS - BTW, I think you can be A LOT more cavalier vetting and culling the FF section!

I'm digging the Woman Running in a Garden piece. The translucency of the shadows on the figure's dress is very interesting to me.
So say (in USD) $2800 to $3000 in USD by the currency calculator http://www.currencyconverterrate.com...bp-to-usd.html that I used.
Good to know, thanks.![]()

ZombieMariachis: Thanks, it's achieved by repeated scumbles of acrylic applied similar to pastels.
OmenSpirits: You're welcome - it sounds a lot more in $!
Luk999: Thanks for your kind words and encouragement Luk!

Thanks very much Vritra.
My thoughts on art are all over the place on CA - just do a search on my name. Regarding composition; it's a huge subject and something one is doing (or should be doing) even in the briefest sketch. To draw is to compose, and to compose is to draw. They are one and the same. There is no such thing as composition seperate from what you do when you make marks on a surface. A bad drawing (or painting) is simply something poorly composed - and this goes for a study of somebody's hand as much as a landscape panorama.
