What do I need to know ?

I'm 16 years old and I'm in a math class (never took art class). in Luxemburg, and I'd like to know what exactly do I need to know (how good do I need to be at drawing/making art), to go to Tad. Is it even possible, for me to go to TAD?

Hi OctaScratch,

as far as I know you can start at any level of experience, TAD's purpose is to teach the skills necessary to pursue your dreams.
The most important thing you have to know is what you want. And that's a process, a moving target, but the more clear your intention, the better you will be able to find your path.

What is a big help is experience with Photoshop, basic drawing, painting and image editing. (A great resource to learn more is http://www.ctrlpaint.com/)
The rest will take care of itself through assignments and feedback.
A personal recommendation if you decide to go with TAD: move to a POD! Compared to sitting in your living room, on your own, it's so much more intense, instructional and inspiring!

It's an exciting question. Try lots of things, keep a journal, and yes, listen to your heart!

For starting a painting art you must have these skills like creativity, focus, accountability and some patients too. As a beginner you must try to draw normal things and also use pencil colors. If you feel that now you get some grip over drawing. So, now you shell start painting some portrait as well.
