    hey y'all!
I decided to start my own little thread...my (daily) sketchbook!
First, I'm going to post the old stuff, then the latest, so I can see my evolution (if there is any) as well...
    Hope you enjoy it!
Fell free to criticize at any moment! I appreciate it!

    Hey Keoshi,

Good work on the sketches. I have a thing for eyes as well, so I understand your fascination with them You look around on my sketch pages and chances are there's usually an eye doodle or two floating around.

I agree with van about the anatomy sketches. More!

One note, try not to do a lot of short strokes - I know sometimes this can be difficult, but try doing longer, light strokes and building up. Take a look at Metalwinds sketchbook to see what I'm talking about - you can also see some of the same stuff in Dakoscwaches' more recent pages. Once you have a form that you like, go in with a kneaded eraser and take out what you don't want and then darken the true line.

I look forward to seeing more!

    Cheers,
    ~Oreg.

    Hey!
Thanks, van and thanks Oregano !
I try to do that you said, Oregano... Light and fast strokes and then try to build up from there... These pages do not show that but I assure you I try
I'll keep that in mind, anyway! Thanks for the advise and suggestion!
I'll keep posting and sure the anatomy studies will come! Thanks for the support!

Looking good so far man, I like what I see. It seems like you're headed in the right direction. I, as well as you two, have a thing for eyes. Look in my book and on every few pages you'll usually see an eye, lol. Oh and Oreg's got you nailed, just loosen up, it can take some time to get used to, but I guarentee you'll enjoy sketching more, and it will help you tons in the long run. Keep it up man.:chug:

    Hey!

    Thanks, dude!
I have to confess, I had some art classes (the basic ones) some time ago... The problem is that is was a LONG time ago!
Since then, I tried to take my style far beyond... and here, we've got problem number two
Problem: it's been a while (LONG one) since I last sketched... I'm trying to get used to it again...
I'll keep posting, and you keep criticizing, deal?
    Thank you very much!

Keoshi, I love your studies. The lined paper ads another element that's just fantastic. I used to love to draw on lined paper when I was younger and always felt I got my best drawings when I did so. ...Perhaps I should start again? haha.

Love the fact that you've got in depth studies going here. That's something else that I should be doing as well. Hmmm...

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more.

    Cheers,
    ~Oreg.

van : thanks a lot, again!

Oregano : geez, Thanks a lot!!
I like the lined paper, indeed. It distracts the eye, so that you don't notice the errors on the sketch itself

Thanks again, both of you! Always great to have some Pro-comments going on xD

Hi from me... Good start for sketchbook, your shading with pencil is very good... I see your studies are very salutary... but they wouldn't help you if you don't know how to exercise them on your future drawings... Keep it up I'll keep an eye on your SB!
