Hello, my name is Maria.
I'm 15 (almost 16) years old, and am looking towards a career in both fantasy design AND classical painting. I'm aiming for the scenography section in a art university (anywhere but Romania, preferably Austria.). My big passion is fantasy art and character design, which is what I'm usually posting on the interwebs. I also started working on my serious-art portofolio (classical paintings, human movement, portraits and figures, horses, flowers, that kind of things) , with the help of a well-known painter here in romania. I don't usually post those things, though, like I said.
I went to a part-time art school for three years, but all I've gotten from it is a diploma. We didn't do much there, much improvement came more from online critiques and this painter I'm telling you about.
I've been hanging on devianTART for a while(2 years) Am pretty recognized, get some money off critter designs and such.
But in all seriousness? I barely get constructive crits.
Last serious crit i got on dA was 5 months (or more) ago.
I haven't been very productive lately either. (Thanks to some rl crap)
And this is why I have come here, seeking a nice community that actually helps you instead of asskissing. People who aren't afraid to crit and speak their mind.
I've come here in hopes to get my artmood back on, improve, and get to chat with some real pros (as well as all the other nice peeps who strive to improve <3)
