It looks like too much detail is going against you, in the first one especially. The house on the cliff looks cool, though. You could make the background building shapes lighter so they don't blend with the main house and cliff too much. All in all, a lovely piece there.

I might have to agree with everyone else on this one. your detail is too strong overall and although it makes it interesting to look around the canvas, it can often distort the purpose for each illustration. ie. what is the focal point of each one etc.
