Welcome to C.A Org, its good to see you have decided to pick up art again, i think you show the basic potential to become a great artistwhich is...
TRYING! thats the secret haha. Overall your work shows some solid potential, so far i wont give you any crits except show us some more work and keep them baby's coming bro.
Hell, even throw in some graff too?
A warm Welcome to CA my friend, anyways... i think that's very nice for being your second attempt at digital drawing/painting, and that's great... the bamboo its ideal for starters so there's nothing wrong with that, post more so we can give more feedback..! and, again, Welcome to the forums
Thank you guys, for the nice words and warm welcome!
I actually have to give credit to all these great Tutorials here at CA, without them I couldn´t have made this pic![]()

Really great start to this sketchbook, these last anatomy practices come across as extremely confident and controlled. Keep it up!

i think for your first experiments with ps, your work is really good!! my first digital paintings looked like a muddy bulb xD i like how you painted the materials in the first painting but the cape looks a bit akward to me. really solid anatomy stuff! keep it up!![]()
Welcome to CA!
Don't worry, I started with a shitty TRUST tablet, which broke after several months of use. A bamboo is great and reliable tablet!
My advice is to do a couple of still life studies to learn and practice proper lightings. And studying human anatomy as well. So you get used to decent proportions on your own images!
Also, when you're painting illustrations or concepts, think about focal points. Right now I can't decide where to look first on your girl with the sword. At human drawings, the main focal point is the face and face alone. The rest are all secondary.
Anyways, keep on posting and practicing!![]()
Thank you very much for the critique!
Well, yeah color and lightning really are giving me troubles...but hey I´m here to practice ^,..,^
Didn´t know about the faces focal point thing...really great advice!
very nice start, looking forward to more post!

Welcome to CA!
Whenever you are drawing a standing figure, try to plant the feet on the ground plain, this with really help create a sense of perspective even for a quick sketch.

Astonishing how the subconscious mind makes you create stuff that reflects the mindstate you are trying to achieve, when you´re not really thinking much about what you´re actually drawing.
Read your opening post. Keep pushing man! If you work hard you can improve your life.
Seen many people on here talking about Bridgman´s Books, so i looked for some images from him on the web:

Love the "Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill" post. Really dig the stylized line work.
Looking for a mentor
If you have a moment I would love any tips or critiques that might help me improve my work.

This is a good start to a SB, and even just a few post I can see an improvement between the first and last pieces you've put up. Keep it up!
I loved the piece in #23 and #24, it shows great improvement and it's an awesome first try! I would prefer the earlier version though, because the background has more texture, which gives the piece more depth. I also like the color palette of the first better, but I guess that's just a personal preference.
And I noticed that you're characters look easy to push over. You should pay attention not to make their feet too small.
Keep it up, Ilook forward to more from you!![]()
