Working hard to become better drawing painting color

I have a full time job as an art teacher and it is exhausting. during the week their is very little time for me to draw or do anything any over the last year I have gotten very lazy with my art work. I am now trying and doing everything I can to stay motivated and keep working (on my art and skill). this is a small piece I have been working on over the last 2 days in the after noon.
It is Bristol board with colored pencil. It is looking a little sloppy right now by I just wanted some other points of view on the piece. I haven't used color in a long time and have focused mainly on drawing.

Considering the angle, she has a pretty huge head, as you don't seem to have used the basic "things get smaller the further they are" element of perspective. So in the end it doesn't really create the look as if the woman was standing over the viewer, but more like she was standing a mile away and we were looking at her through binoculars, or that this was drawn from a photo that had totally flattened the perspective.
Also half of the facial features don't seem to be angled the same way the face is, like if you cover everything else and only look at the eyes, they look like they're viewed more or less straight from the front, and same happens with the mouth, but the features have been placed close to each other, as if we were looking the face almost straight from below.

So in the end it doesn't really create the look as if the woman was standing over the viewer, but more like she was standing a mile away and we were looking at her through binoculars, or that this was drawn from a photo that had totally flattened the perspective.

I assume the latter is the case (this would explain the foreshortening of the face as well), but I actually like the telephoto effect is appropriate. Looking like she's "a mile away and we were looking at her through binoculars" plays into the voyeuristic nature of the piece.

I notice the features of the face weren't where I would have liked them as I was up loading the picture. I should have 'built' my eyes and facial features rather than just using 'symbols' of those features. This is heavily referenced from a photo.

and now that you men-ch end it, the forehead is looking a little long.
