    Question about attachement manager..

Sorry guys, I just wanted to know if I have done something wrong with my attachements when I've uploaded them on CA because since the thumbnails are back my images are very small and not on other topics... I know that it's under construction etc.. I just wanted to know if I have to do something to get back the good sizes

    Here's my sketchbook link : http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...y-sketchbook-D

Thank you ! And guys, you're doing a great job here !

    Hello,

Nope, you did nothing wrong. Good sizes are back. The thumbnails were rebuilding and they were temporarily set to small sizes.

    Hey guys,

a small question dealing with the attachement manager: (in case there is some kind of an answer somewhere and I didn't find it, please forgive me and post a link , thanks )

I know that the forum is still under construction, but is there already a way to change the position/order of the attached images? Before the updates all my images were listed one below the other. Now they are all filling the rows as far as possible and that, somehow, looks not so nice For example: the last image is getting cut almost always (big screen: 3 images in a row, small screen: 1 and a half and so on). So I would like to know if we can somehow arrange the positioning of the images in the attachement-window. Or maybe set the amount of vertical columns and so on....

    Thanks in advance!

    Greetings

Hey Black Spot, thanks for the fast answer!

When I click on "edit post" I can change the text in the editing frame. The attachement manager can be seen, but I can't change anything there. If I click on "go advanced" I can change the images in the manager itself, but not the positioning of the updloaded images. Where exactly should I press "return"?

Feel free to visit my sketchbook and give me some advice!
    Thanks!

After each attachment. You should be able to see the number of each attachment. Usually they're on top of each other, if they're in a line they'll show in a line.

I'm not seeing a problem on your very nice SB.

This is due to the fact that you don't insert your attachments inline.

If you just attach them, they will show up at the bottom of your post in the new stretching format (which I love, btw).
But when you click on "manage attachments" you get the option to "insert inline"; and all attachments selected will be inserted to wherever the cursor is. Then you get the bb code [attach ] picture [ / attach] and you can press enter to divide them as you like and stop the stretching.

I have one tiny newbie question about the attachment manager. How do I permanently delete images from my folders ? If I delete a folder all the images from the folder will just go back to my home folder. Sometimes I upload way too big images here and need to replace them with smaller images that fit the forum better. The problem is that the bigger images don't get deleted because I've already posted them. At the moment I have this folder full of huge images that I want to get rid of.

I have the same problem as ozark. I usually end up uploading imgs too big, how can we perm. delete images in the attachment manager. I would prefer a less cluttered workspace. Thanks in advance.

Edit: And how can we rename files? Or it that not possible?
