great work, im tryna get to that level soon
Awesome artwork. I personally like the first image (assassin). Cool color combination, the word has enough contrast from the background.
That is incredible, Bao are there any books you recommend on typography or graphic design in general? or was it something that evolved for your through experience and experimentation.
If you have a moment, Help me improve with critiques. thank you Sketchbook
Awesome sketchbooks

Outer Haven is ridiculous are you working in Photoshop or illustrator or both?
I quite enjoy the work you've posted here, but I do notice that they all seem to be centralized/symmetrical (aside from some of the logo work.)
Have you delved at all into grid based design? Or done much work that places an emphasis on asymmetry?
P.S. Dig the MGS references, incorporating other interests is a very cool way to do personal work/explore techniques and processes.
Awsome stuff!
super cool man!
You have a very original style, many of these have that certain "why didn't I think of this" feel to them that sets them apart from boring mainstream. Maybe your use of color isn't the most interesting and maybe, for a potential client, some of the logos might be a bit too busy/detailed/hard to read to be brandable but the very technical feel and crisp lines are always cool.
Yeah, I'd agree -- Your style is very original.
'Virtuous' stands apart for me.
Absolutely stunning stuffRavishing typography, I could eat it!!!
I like how much detail you have put into the designs. Was there a purpose for these? They look more graphic art rather than actual design with a purpose?
Well done!
Uh, dude. Any particular reason you're leaving design? This stuff is absolutely top-shelf. You've got guaranteed income for the rest of your life, if this is the kind of stuff you output. Good money too, not drone money that generalists make. I've been a designer longer, and I'm probably not even half as good as this (although I haven't been focusing on logos for years). I understand the stuff above is personal, not for clients, but still, I imagine your client stuff is great too. I guess it's your choice ultimately, and it's good to explore options if you're tired. I'm exploring illustration myself, but if I had your skills, I wouldn't be so quick to leave. You might be really good at motion graphics, if you don't already do those.
EDIT: just saw your site, and yes, you do motion. Super sweet stuff.
