Hello everybody,

I am Michal Zelenak aka siiilon and I decided to start my humble sketchbook here.
Here's a bunch of little pencil & ink drawings, but I hope to do more digital from now on.

thank you guys, appreaciate it very much. Here I am struggling with values, trying to get away with detail and just block in the right values with soft pencil on grainy paper.

I thought I would join CHOW for this week, but have not enough time and I'm not satisfied with the progress so I quit. Here is what I end up, it was supposed to be a clumsy elf assassin.

I think I would join rather IDW for this time. cu

Your nick is very familiar but I can't put my finger on where I've seen it.

You have a very efficient way of portraying solid masses and form.
Keep it up.

@Rotor : Thank you, but it's not as efficient as I would like it to be, and this new drawing proves it. The values are poorly controlled, but I'll try to keep doing these daily so I get across this phase quickly. cu

You have a really nice style of shading! All the horses you've done are beautiful. My only critique would be trying to define the edges a bit more in your tonal drawings. Everything looks a bit fuzzy and out of focus. Maybe use some defining lines at your edges? Anyway, can't wait to see more!

Here is my idw for this week, not sure if I'm not gonna be disqualified for the use of 3D, still don't know how much of it is allowed. It was a good practice anyway and I need to practice 3D as well.

Great sketchbook! I like the loose quality many of your works here have - gives them their own dynamic. And I'm impressed to see nice digital paintings, analog drawings and 3D on one page. This is going to be a very exciting sketchbook. Keep it up!

Digging the sketches. Especially the animals a lot of motion and feeling in em'. The dog and pig are my favorite.

Keep crankin' them out, great start to your SB.
