    Hi...italian and a little lost

Hi, I'm new to the forum, so I go for a quick presentation

I'm a guy from Rome, 23 years old, studied for 4 years in a somewhat good comic art school (Scuola Romana dei Fumetti), and now willing to be better (and need to be) in order to try to work in the concept art industry.

One thing I know is that I have been a little too lazy in these 4 years, and, though it was NOT a GREAT school (I must say it, there were some good teachers, but only a few, and the lessons were badly organized), I could have taken more than I did.

But, now screw the pass! think of the future, so I started to work more on my own fine art studies, but I sense I will work so much better with good teachers (to bettern learn everything, from pencil drawing to digital art's various tools)...And I don't know where to look, really.

Have you some hints for me?

    Hi, welcome!

Do you want to be an international student? If you could, I suggest schools like RISD, Royal college of Art, OTIS, Art Center, CalArts, Slade, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design... very famous schools. You could also ask your locals for any good, cheap schools. Take recommended workshops too if you can. They're a lot cheaper than art schools, and time could be short, but maybe you can learn something out of it.

Otherwise, the internet has wealth of infos. Libraries too.

Thanks, sorry if I answer only now (wow, almost a year later ahahah), however I started cgma online courses the past April, and I'm following them, they're really good, and I've become more aware of all the internet resources, and books and everything.
Infact I sense the lack of a live school, but I'm managing to do things in other ways!

As soon as I have interesting things to show I'm posting a portfolio-like in this forum!
Bye see you soon around here!
