hi man, your paintings are nice ! tho in order to go to the next step, you should put more design and thoughts in your pictures, i mean, what's the car doing in the last painting ? what is the thing in the background ? what is your goal painting this enviro ? what do you wanna show in your pictures ? you should play more with the different elements of composition, before breaking the rules : balance, rhythm, unity, etc, just study one by one and then play with them in your painting, you'll learn tons by doing that !!

Thanks you for your comment man. I have also noticed that I need to focus more on my designs. Guess I have to play around a lot more and think one step ahead while I’m painting and sketching. This is something that I struggle with all the time now, hopefully my visual library will expand and give me more awesomeness to draw with time.
Will definitely take your study technique into consideration.

This is my first sculpture in model clay. The black pray paint didn’t come out to well on the pictures. But what I have been trying to do is a taunting boar-man.
Had a lot of fun doing it and I am kinda happy with the result. The material was super cool to work with since you can get so wicked details with it, all you need is time and skills. Will definitely do more of those in the future!

This is some composition-sketches for a life painting that will take of tomorrow. Not sure what to go for yet, but it leans to a vertical format.

And finally we have decided to design the main character for the Snow White redesign project.
Have a lot of thought's that I want to try out before I turn this in to a illustration or finish design.

Fact is, the story never tell us if Snow White is a just a fragile girl, or if she's adventurous. What if Snow White her self like's the art of hunting, and the huntsmen tricked her out in the woods by asking her if she was interested to go on a hunt.

    Life Painting day 1

Here's what I got from 2.5 hours of painting today. Feels like I have a foundation to build on now. Tomorrow I will focus on the face, lightning and contrasts.

Some more sketches for Snow White. Still trying to think through a steam punk/fantasy perspective. Will do 5 more of those before I start the illustration.

    Life Painting day 2

After today's life painting. Tried to focus on contrasts and color variation, but I probably need to push that even further.
Will play around more with the colors before I go into more details, especially in the background.

    Gorgeous sketchbook.

In post #132, the trees look much too orderly. They're all in a neat, uniform line. Next time you do something like that, try to vary it up a little, makes it look more natural.

Movie Screenshot Study - The Prestige

Not at all man! It is an honor.

    Umbravita
I agree with you, I'd put far to less time to comp the trees. That’s something I have to improve.

Here's a Movie Screenshot Study, didn’t have the time to finish it, but what the heck... posting it anyways.

You have an affinity towards environments but your charactes get better also. Try and do gestures so the poses go more naturally.

By doing quick sketches you'll familiarize yourself with the body , not just the muscles but the dynamic of it.

    Anyways , really nice stuff.

Did a couple of studies on some flintlock pistols using only line work. Was kind of fun, but I really think that I have to build up confidence in my line art, especially when I’m drawing digitally.

Thank you for your comment. I have life drawing sections in school every Monday, so I guess I got some of that. But I agree with you, I should think of it when I draw digital too. My characters are pretty stiff and lifeless at this point.
