Hi, my name is iraya and i want to improve on drawing, specially in illustrative art. I have been drawing mostly fanart for the past year and i want to improve and move on to more original works.
i am hoping to make new friends and learn new things here
i specially want to learn digital painting techniques.
my background is watercolors and inks and i want to learn to digitally paint.
i had one year of training as a character designer, storyboard and game writer for gambling machines in Japan for a year but that didn't get me anywhere and after that i stopped drawing seriously because of a change in jobs (from drawing to accounts in advertising) and i think my drawings are even worse now.
I heard about this place in a video and i am hoping that the tutorials here will help me improve because i feel i am not improving on my own. Drawing has always been a passion for me and i really want to improve specially in drawing cartoons. I want to get that drive again where i just draw and draw like when i was younger.
if my english is a bit weird please forgive me as it is not my 1st language but i will also try to improve on that too.
