    Making Something out of nothing.

I know they say plan ahead when making a piece, I will next time I guess. Anyway I've been doing many portraits and decided to give one a background.
Now i think this project is going downhill, Can you help me?

Well for one, I cant really tell what's in the background, and that's quite distracting (unless it's because you haven't finished it?) Try it with the wood covering the whole wall. The selling point is the woman, right? The background shouldn't be too detailed or different. You want people's eyes to go to the woman first, so the background should complete the photo, not add too much attention to it.

Oh yeah, I haven't thought about it that way, I wasn't sure what to add as a background. I might end up changing it all together, But Your right

Hi there, the thing I don´t like it´s the eyes, it´s out of proportions, and that kills the piece. But everything is about learning. Good luck

Changed The background to something less distracting, but upon doing the background I realized that I might want to work on my Scenery pieces. Not sure if I want to take this any further.(got bored :/)

That cheek needs to be cropped. Eyes are a bit too big.

Teeth look too forward but maybe that s because it s a WIP.
