I really really like your traditional work. Nice uses of different media in them and a lovely line quality.
you have some beautiful artwork
Cool style... I would really like to see more of those sketchbook pages, they're awesome. Keep it up!![]()
Thanks guys, most of my traditional sketchbooks consist of tiny little thumbnails nowadays, I'll remember to post anything that isn't a thumbnail

Great sketchbook. I really like your people studies and your texture study.
Inspiring stuff! You seem really confident drawing hair, looks great. also really enjoyed the pages in your real life sketchbook where u drew someone with a camera et.c. Stronk stuff.
I love your work o_o
Especially that traditional sketchbook. What are those notes?
And how do you just get... pages like that? They are so cool XD Are they from reference?

@Sushy: I tend to 'reuse' about half the pages in my sketchbooks and end up overlapping a lot of figures and lines (usually with a different coloured pen/medium); most of the time i don't feel like using a new page for studies/practice and sometimes i can see new/interesting things from the overlapping. A lot of the sketches are from photos, and a lot are from life/imagination.
Here's some colours i laid down for a commission that I can show, might be able to finish it sometime this weekend:

Wow, this sketchbook is great. Would you mind disclosing any of your story? I would love to hear about your experience. How long have you been drawing? Any schooling? How old if you don't mind me asking?
@charloss: thanks =] i'm 23, and have been drawing since i could hold a pencil. i have a background in fine arts but decided to switch to illustration about 2 years ago because i enjoy it a lot more. since my bfa program didn't offer any illustration classes, i pretty much learned everything digital art related from online resources (video tutorials, artist streams, etc.)
quick study from today:

prelim stuff for this week's c.o.w: demonic-speedsters
they swim in magma and jump like tree frogs while on land. heads were inspired by the aftermath of dogs biting into porcupines.

oh your digital stuff looks so greatthe hair looks wonderfull. The portrait of the woman with the blond hair and green eyes looks nice balanced, with the soft hair and the rough structure of the skin.
hey therenice thumbs! the lack on front paws is kinda weird but i really want to see were you end up with this design.
oh btw where is the study from your previous post from? that dude has a really interesting head shape, i'd love to do some studies on him :o
Thanks Pfefferminzia and G@m, the screen cap's my favourite scene in the movie "GO" (2001), guy in the fg is Hirofumi Arai guy in the mid is Yōsuke Kubozuka.
