Your lighting is really nice, and I see nice form description. I really like how dark they are, they remind me a lot of chiaroscuro. Hope to see more updates!

nice studies! proportions are a tiiiny bit off maybe, otherwise great!

maybe you're getting caught up in too much detail too soon? try simplifying things a little, it's also faster and fun to draw.

Yeah your digital images are really dark. The background is dark grey and some of the characters blend into the background. In your last post the second image has a good level of lightness though, so keep them like that. Despite the darkness I actually think you have good contrast. I really like the character thumbnail from post #11. Purhaps you can make more thumbnails. Great stuff!

Nice pencils and good b\w rendering. Probably you miss a little bit of sharpness on the edges and smootheness in values (try to smudge gradients with a textured brush). Keep it up man!

@epta: Dont be ashamed of your art!

@Seraph Fawkes: thank you for the comment and advice, I will work on my smoothness. Sometimes I kind of like the rough kind of look to my work, but I know I should smooth things out more! Thanks again for the comment!

    Hi Starr

Keep doing those studies, they are paying off! Try to use bigger brushes, and use less strokes to define the forms. Do not go for details or ultra smootheness unless everything is in the right place

Hope that helps, keep at it!

Great studies Starr they feel really three dimensional, I agree with Morgado about maybe loosening up a bit more and using bigger brushes. Quite often less is more when it comes to brush strokes/pencil marks. It's shaping up to be a lovely sketchbook, just keep em coming

    Hi Starr ,
It was a pleasure watching your sketchbook. All of your b/w drawings I liked. want to see something apart from this.

Last one is quite cool! Try to play with values of naked part and soften gradients. Also don't forget left hand.
