Talking Lisa Ann Green's 100 girls

A daily painting project, 100 girls... Actually, I'd rather it be 500 girls, but I want to start with something manageable. Alla prima paintings on wood... girls, colors, poses, compositions... Comments welcome, thanks.

#4 - Lavender Roses, 6" round, oil on wood
#5 - Sun Facing, 6" round, oil on wood

I love the latest pieces where you go more abstract and focus more on the composition. They're very um...absorbing, for lack of a better word. And some of the texture work and color choice reminds me a bit of Gustav Klimt who is my one of favs.

I'll be following this project with interest.

    Thanks Psychobuddy!

Been working on paying jobs, sorta busy. I've always avoided painting mother-child stuff, even though I have 4 daughters and mothering is the majority of what I think about... But it seemed like not "serious" enough or something. Haha, that sounds so stupid. Like making pretty pictures of potentially sexy girls is serious.

    all 6 x 6, oil on birch.

couple pix from my phone of a WIP, Daenerys Targaryan.... LOL Khaleesi and her Dragons. SUre, why not? All sudden I'm like, oooh, I wanna paint her. So here are a couple sketches, the rough layout. Final size will be 8 x 10 on birch. I want to take a slightly more layered approach.
