Also I heard a story from my lecturer saying that there was a really talented artist and then he went and travelled around the world for a few years and he came back. He lost a ton of skill. So what's the minimum requirements for retaining the hard earned skill? Thanks!

You're the same age as me! :] haha sweet.. I am really digging your environments and studies A LOT.. I'd say you are using that lasso tool very well. Your understanding in color is pretty damn awesome.. it's what I'm really trying to work on right now. Your figures are good, but I'd like to see some more movement in them. Some of your characters appear to be stiff even though it is in armor. Anyways.. keep it up man I look forward to seeing your next post!
