    Hey will!

I like your dedication to posting every day, and you have some really nice character designs there. My only reccomendation would be that all your sketches (even your most recent project) are very portrait-focused. Your portraits are great, but I'd like to see you challenge yourself with more full-body stuff, maybe doing multiple figures. Just because you seem pretty comfortable with doing portraits already, I feel like you would get more out of varying your practice.

    Best of luck!

    Smoking eyes and hands sketches

Thanks Jacqs. You are completely right, i dont really do alot of figure drawing. And showing multiple on a page sounds like a great idea i'll aim to day that tomorrow and get it up for some critique.
A quick little character concept with some hand studies. Jim Lee inspired

Love the character concepts. Not much to say as this seems to still be an early sketchbook. I look forward to seeing more from you. Keep it up.

No 3 out of 270 portraits

This is the third portrait in my challenge to do a portrait of every single facebook friend. No matter how award it gets whether its someone that I met at a party a year ago or ppl from primary school days, a portrait of them must be done.

Nice challenge you've got there. That kind of concrete goals always help motivate.

In your last portrait I would push light values a bit more and his head looks a little too big.

    Keep on nice work!

Nice work man! I have a suggestion for your facebook portrait project though. Facebook photos dont tend to be the best drawing reference. You want good light and readable form in your ref, so i think you would learn a lot more if you did this same project but with good photos from online somewhere. Check out flickriver and just browse, youre bound to find portrait material worth copying. Keep it up!

    Studies

    Thanks Kevin
Thanks Kielbasa, I agree the a lot of the photos that i have found(on facebook) are a bit flat whether its because of the flash that is used or its at a party, however i have committed to doing this and
hope to see it through even if some of the photos are lacking. Thanks for the suggestion though and hope to see you back.
Today i have a few studies of William Bouguereau's portrait of Gabrielle Cot. Which i cannot hope to match, and just a few studies from life
