The guys at Mammoth Games (I'm a concept artist for them, working on our first game titled Rising Empires: Tides of War an RTS game) have decided to host an art contest, anyone interested just read the info below. So have fun, I know there are alot of talented artist here, so get crackin'.

Theme
The year is 356-323 B.C. A great battle is about to take place at Gaugamela between the untested armies of Alexander the Great and the mighty armies of King Darius of Persia.
It is up to the artist to capture this moment...

Rules
- Only one entry per participant.
- Your drawing may not contain vulgar, racist or pornographic material.
- The drawing must be related to the theme. The most impressive drawing will be that which successfully shows two armies preparing for battle, fighting a battle or charging at each other before they clash.
- You may not send more than 1 sample of your work.

2nd, 3rd and 4th places will each recieve a Mammoth Games Mug and a Rising Empires: Tides of War t-shirt, along with a chance to beta test Rising Empires: Tides of War this winter 2004.
Deadline
The contest will end on the 10th of July at midnight (GMT-6hrs). Please send your entries beforehand or they will not be accepted.
Winners will be announced on any date between the 15th of July and the 25th of July. After that, please allow another 5 days for prize delivery.
