Quick sketch whilst on skype. I'm going to try and update this thread daily.
You've got a lot of great studies going on here. Keep it up and you'll have a bunch of awesome art in no time. One thing I think you can improve on is the female figure. You seem to make them more masculine than they ought to be - I have the same problem.
It should be something you can work out by keeping up with your studies but always be mindful of what you have in front of you vs. what you've learned about the anatomy/how the body works. I've found that if I try to think too much about the anatomy I focus on those shapes and that can make something look very masculine.
Keep up the good work!

I am currently looking for a mentor to help me improve my sketch book. Either that or lots of crits and suggestions to help me improve my skills.
Very nice studies. I'd like to see what you can do with that skill![]()
Digital studies, trying to work within time limits (very challenging!)
Been playing around with this for quite some time now and im starting to get sick of it. Loads has been learnt so far but it's frustratingly slow![]()
cleaning up lines/tweaking design elements before i hit the sack
' I am going to try and post everyday' .... - dafuq. Been out the country away from the internet and shamelessly my sketchbook too ( observational drawing fail). Time to get back to the grind. I spent most of today drawing straight lines free-hand with scott robertson's perspective dvd it wasn't particularly fun or flashy but pretty damn rewarding!
@Newman thanks for the crit - i can completely relate I get the feeling that i'm trying to communicate the anatomy but sacrificing the elegance of the form. Will be working at correcting this.

My first attempts at digital thumbnails really suck haha. The second batch are a little better but still suck. Value studies from photos were pretty fun at 1 hour each.

Making slowgress with the thumbnails, timed at 15mins each and working into the cave piece some more. Having a tough time with colour, just adding muted limited colours over the top of the values. Note to self: start doing colour studies oh and POST MORE/DRAW MORE stop being a lazy shit.

Stuff from today. My first go at Maya, even though it's a basic sword and hilt. It's more then i had yesterday. baby steps... Did more 30 sec gestures but i really hated them, more than i hate these haha. Also a 20 minute thumbnail using parts of a photo as a starting point.

Maya workshop at uni today. Fun crates and boxes.
Very cool! I wish I had the time and patience to sit down and learn 3D. These look pretty good!
