Here's some stuff I've been doing recently, just some general anatomy.
Right now, I'm actually focusing on feet, which brings me to a point: Drawing different poses of feet could be helpful, but what can I study to allow me to draw a full foot rotation accurately [guidelines, perspective, no ref]?
Lovely anatomy studies, especially the color-coded muscles of the legs. I'd like to see more.
Did more foot sketches today
Gosh, haven't done anything in aggggess @_@ been doing lotsa life drawing lately, but gotta work a ton on tones and value for sure @_@

A quick lil perspective test before I draw it on paper

Tried a mini test plan :0 Not sure how the front view and side views might apply other than to indicate the height ._.

Great work on the anatomy studies (I'm jealous of you ability to draw feet :<) and also on the greyscale paintings (though I think the left one could use a lot more darker shadows)![]()
Please take a look at my Sketchbook! <- Comments are highly appreciated and returned C:
Your anatomy studies are gorgeous, especially shoulder bones. And feet are so damn cool. Keep it up!
Thanks for stopping by in my SB!

Heh heh thanks you guys, but those are old woorksDefinitely gotta work with a wider range of value @_@
Just a lil update, no sketch today , school in 6 hours, and this fever isn't helping me stay awake, so ima retire tonight
These be my roughs for tomorrow's class (2D design. Theme: full moon)
and the bat study accompanying it :0 compliments of deviantart and google for their refs

Nice bat studies! Even if I wonder why you cutted one wing off. it's digital, so you can can move around stuff or make the canvas bigger. Missing things looks just strange here. Well, but I like the bat in the upper left corner a lot. There'S some nice brushwork on the left wing =)
Whoops you're right, It didn't even slip into my mind that I could move it xD Ha hah thank you, i'll do some more in depth studies pretty soon actually
And here's an acrylic painting done today, spent about 6 hours working it up from life. I'm slowly getting a handle on how to blend :0 Subject matter is a squash I think

Blaaarg been procrastinating and slowly doing homework lately, so here's a selection of 1's, 3's, 5's, and 10/15 min poses from a 6 hour life drawing session :0
Some are good, some are bad, and some are fantastic baby

Nice anatomy stuff man, keep pushing out those studies

Hey Will, I'll toss some studies in after homework tonight![]()
For now, here's this! :0 I gotta loosen up on these sketches, too scared of wrecking my art >
Reminds me of Samus

Thanks for the encouraging words, and I'm loving those figure drawings! Keep at it man!![]()
I love your feet studies..cause I΄m awful at doing feet![]()
@kiichi You too bro!
@Goremageddon Saw your foot study, coming along, but I actually learned most of what I know about feet from nude life drawingEspecially in those 5 minute and more poses, try to really observe the details of the hands and feet :0
A quick update: been super lazy lately and procrastinating + wasting time, gotta get back into it and do something... right after I seriously spend time on my homework @_@
I'm not sure if you have noticed, but you have a strong tendency to enlarge the legs and feet of your figures.
You're right, I do! :0 Even in life drawing, I definitely gotta pay attention to my scale .0.
You can do it! great job on the studies! Really kicking me to get on mine again
Dropped by to say thanks for all help and encouragement! Your life studies are looking great, and I can see why you support so much practicing and studies.
I have to agree with karmazon on the emphasis of the lower half of the body. They seem a bit thicker/wider than they should be. Besides that, love the details!
@Nerferinn Go for it!
@G-ro Thanks for dropping byHa ha, I support it, but I myself am lazy .0. And I agree too! Needa study some anatomy hardcore xD
Here's a little random sketch, coloring a bit more than normal, really need to whip out some studies @_@
Study of a beetle using dA photo interrupted by the need to sleep

Here's a 20 minute film study I did today :0 Focused too much on the details on johnny's head, and didn't even get around to blurring
So hard to get the color of that railing >..< I see it sorta has a orangish tint but just by colorpicking, it's way too hard, so I had to paint orange over the blue, and get a value from that @_@ Hope I'll be able to see colors better the more I do this
It's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides xD Got the screen cap from http://screenmusings.org
and some 1 min gestures from yesterday
and 3 mins! :0

A lil paint study from yesterday :0
![]()
A few more paint studies, so bad at matching colors and stuff .3.
Just not sure how to do this >....< Should I do value studies instead? or just keep sticking to colors? Any tips?
