nice designs, dude
You should try to break that habit. Habits in general can get you tangled up. It's cool if you want to render all the faces, but it seems like you often get bored before you render the body to the same level as the face. It makes the drawings look disjointed.
If the body is a 7 and the head is a 10 - it makes the body look like a 5 - ya know?
It's clear you know how to render- you just gotta put it to use on all the pieces ^_^ (says the girl who can't finish anything without a client looming)
Happy sketching!
lionheartgfx-thanks for the advice, anything about environments helps at this point!
fatmostank-its probably cause on those i rendered out the faces more than the bodies, and the on e you pointed out is pencil so i cant paste on that lol

Holy shit level up on the latest one! The studies are paying off for sure!
Only thing i would comment on is that his head seem to be floating above his shoulders, like if you draw a skeleton on top of him, he would have a pretty long neck
kingkostas-ahh thanks! glad you like em!
v3t-thanks hope you stop by again!
mepainter-thanks, i have been making that focus lately, now i need to get my figures up to par too!
graypersona-thanks!
flaskpost-haha thanks i felt good about this one too, and idk i always draw the figure underneath first and it was fine, it might just be the costume that make it look wierd?

I got a website!
Hi mate, your pencils are fantastic, looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do... Not really a crit, but a suggestion would be to maybe try using more of your value range on these character sheets. You could try pushing things back and pulling others forward with very subtle changes in value. Kind of like mini atmospheric perspective.
Your work is def going to the next level mr. I can see you are def going places. Your character designs are maturing in style and you are technically improving very fast. Great pencils mr. Maybe just watch out for over complicating outfits. Simplicity can be just as effective as a lot of detail and make it easier for the viewer to access your character. But your work is great keep doing what your doing. I can see big things ahead.
Hey man, you're really improving fast! I like these latest character designs that you've been posting, I think that they really stand out. A nice blend of the familiar and the unknown. If you want your work to feel stylized I think that you should push that aspect even more. Make it really clear that it's intentional and not a mistake you know! A good thing to practice, if you have a model, is to try and bring out some of their characteristics and personality. Might go without saying, but it's fun atleast! Looking forward to moar.
reptile-thanks i will!
ilexpaul-thanks man!
jecelin69-haha thanks i have fun doing them!
yemi775-thanks!
sytrex-haha thats how it works round here, now turn it into motivation!
kvetch-you read my mind because i was going to try that next! :b
ja1307-thanks and i will definitely try and simplify every once and a while
bjulvar-thanks and yes i know what you mean with going all in with stylizing, thanks for the advice!
here are some thumbs i did and i tried adding some colors to three of them, i might keep fleshing out some of these?

working on your drawing skills is a good thing !! Keep it up mate !!
Wowee! I really like your pencil work, you seem to have a nice grasp on the contours of the things you draw! I have to ask, are you starting immediately with contour or do you construct first?
>>DeviantArt|SketchBook<<
your characters r sooo good
hucumkedi-lol its easier said than done :b i understand your problem now -_-
pigeonkill-thanks!
kikindaface-yes it is :b thanks
kamikazel33t-if you are talking about silhouettes i almost never do that except with weapon design, just lines and values
pontuseuxinus-glad you thinks so!
heres my attempt at developing one of the enviro sketches and i expanded it too, i dont think i am done i still see room for experimentation...ahh still so much to learn -_-

Hey man, I like the mood in this one. I think adding the reflections from the rock will make a big difference.
Hey, nice sketchbook and you have some interesting ideas, I think you could benefit from strengthening your anatomy and gesture, I noticed that many of your characters have the same pose and the feet are in many cases not posed correctly(Knee and feet going in different directions) and in many cases the feet are in the same direction in many of your character drawings, try to do some leg and feet studies and draw them in every direction and angle to get an understanding and to widen the variety of your poses, doing daily 5- 20 min or more of gesture drawings of figures is recommended and pay close attention to the direction and angle of the feet and legs.
