    Hey!

great updates man, i really like those crow studies..

now on the angel chick... shes way to thin, her arm is out of proportion.. her upper-arm is too short and the forearm is too large, the problem here lies with the elbow, doing more anatomy studies will fix this..

anyways man, really good stuff, keep at it!

and thanks for stopping by my sketchbook!

Dude great work on the recent crows. And I agree with you about the angel chick. the side view seems a bit off. I was going to do an overlay on it until I realized I SUCK with my wacom atm ha ha. But It might just be me. Typically I dont thing you really only see one side of a person in reality at-least from that extreme angle. Keep it up dude.

i really like that style ! try to put it more in your works from mind and put just more time into your rendering , it´s obvious you can do it.

Lovely sketchbook. There's a lot of interesting things to observe. I particularly enjoyed your anatomical drawings. Beautiful tones in those images.

I share your love for traditional art. Although there's some real wizardry that can be done with a tablet, I prefer the charm of pencil and paper.

the crows look the great man, the colours kick my ass. The angel, well you've gotten some good crits on it so far. Just beef her up and round her out man, and texture those wings, make them look feathery...haha XD Horrible late night crits, I'm sorry.

Great updates! specially the loose bird studies.
I like the rendering on the face of the angel girl, but I agree that her proportions look a bit squashed.
Anyways, Keep up the great work

    caiochagas-thanks!
smuli-im glad everyone likes that portrait so much since im not even done with it :b and ill definitely take your advice!
lightship69-well i cant tell you with out going though each piece and pointing out whether i used ref or not, the more detail they have the more likely i used ref or could of just been an imagination piece i developed more than the others. so not sure how to answer, next time ill write whether i use ref or not!
    jzhang-thanks!
gpozzo-yeah i see everything you described, i didn't start this with intentions to have it go anywhere so i disregarded all that stuff but i will make sure to fix it before continuing!
petehidalgo-you are right, this was started with no premeditation at all so yes everything is messed up :b
alexandrpascenko-great that you check out my sb, big fan of you sb! thanks for stopping by!
zaccrockett-haha yeah i am so addicted to traditional :b
    kvetch- thanks a lot!
psychobuddy- thanks man and yes ill beef her up but still want a petite figure so ill find a good balance and lol A for effort :b
voodoomama-thanks and yeah they absolutely are, started the angel chick thinking i was just going to delete it so thats why its so disproportionate right now -_-
    marlu- thanks iowa!

wtf sketchy thingies, id why im so in love with weird :b

Great bird studies, and I like the angular quality and energy to your figures. You might want to recheck your construction lines on the angel chick's head; the angle and perspective on her eyes looks a little off.

revidescent-thanks and yeah there was no construction anything to the angel chick cause it wasn't premeditated so that's why there are so many errors but im thinking of pushing it forward a bit and will definitely fix what you mentioned!
    kaikaisushi-thanks a lot! :b
    blackbridge-thanks!
    jarkuzy-thank you!

so here is some quick thing i did as an intermission between finishing up some other pieces that im taking more seriously, procrastination pretty much -_- tried to give it a sort of graphic style but didn't get the result i wanted but it was for fun so whatever :b

Oh man, I love those bird studies but I can't see the angel girl image , also I love how weird your imagination drawings are they remind me of silent hill . On the critique side of things, I would say to maybe focus more on construction drawing as your observational and rendering skills are already really strong and it would help more with imagination pieces . Great work anyways and keep it up .

nice update! on the last one remember that the lower abs go down into the pubic bone which sits in between the legs (giggity) giving a small inward slant to the bottom of the stomach, the rectus femoris (the top muscle on the thigh) comes from the illiac crest outwards, at an opposing angle to the stomach giving a wedge cut out of the bottom of the trunk. Which yours is missing, a flat stomach doesnt mean flat legs, girls be curvy!

Hope that made sense, I'm at work so I cant really illustrate it in anyway lol >.> so the muscle names may or may not be correct lol

Hey Kevin, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook! I feel bad after looking at your stuff... man, your sketches... And your paintings too o_o Not only do they look good, the ideas are really interesting too. Have you done some atelier stuff before? cuz you've got some really solid background... impressive stuff.

will123will-thanks for the silent hill name drop, absolutely love that game series! and yeah i tried idk what happened but here is an update for you on the same angel chick! and yeah i actually don't like all the preparation before a drawing or painting so a lot of times ill try and speed trough it and sometimes not even use construction lines -_- horrible habit i will try and stop!
    MattieauSt.Cyr-thanks!
aragah-thanks man, sorry to say it was a one time experiment but idk maybe ill do more? and yeah that was pretty much what i updated on it, the colors and lighting and anatomy i will get to next!
    marcocasalvieri-thanks a lot!
    HarbingerofIllRepute-lol thanks
    ayoub66-thanks!
jaik-thanks and i got what you meant, don't worry il fix it i have not gotten around to fixing up the anatomy yet.
cabbagecaterpillar-wow thanks :b i appreciate the kind words! and no i have not done any atelier stuff, entirely self taught! and great that you think my work is interesting because i wreck my brain almost everytime to try and come up with something creative :b

some old real quick creature sketches that ill probably edit into the first page later

You've got very nice figure work right from the start. Great stuff. No real crits or anything that I can see except the right arm disappears a bit wonky in your most recent one, but it's a quick wtf sketch so probably not an issue in your regulars.
