Troll Siege! Free work - finally done rendering.

Finally done! I streamed a lot of this on my livestream channel, and there's a ton of WIPS on my FB page too for people who are interested in seeing steps/video!
Crits very welcome - I'm trying to push my lighting, realism(rendering wise anyway) and mood. Pretty basic/cliche colour scheme but it works.

    Hello Jordy,
This seems like interior of a castle or dungeon to me.
    What I noticed about lighting:
The torchlight is too strong from that feeble torch.
The light coming through the gates/door is on an awkward angle.
As the light from doorway -should- be major light source, there is a lack of shadows from the "soldiers" in the background.
Overall it should be darker or more/stronger light sources.
And the big ogre/troll center of gravity is off. I suggest when doing a pose, first try and pose it yourself, just to "feel" if you are confortable in it.
Speaking of pose, I can't seem to grasp where his waist area is.
I believe if you made the big creature eye pupils smaller it would go towards making him look more fierce.
How about adding some saliva for the big one?
This might be not so important, but if you are working towards "realism" the little goblin on the left is holding the dagger "inefficiently", the tip should be pointing up (that way you get more reach with the weapon).
The dude on the big guys shoulders has expression of "meh I don't really care", changing his expression would improve overall mood.

    Hope this helps

Very true across the board, made me realize a few mistakes I commonly do.

    Thanks a ton! Great feedback.
