    Second

Here we are, another set of drawings. I draw a box around my sketches because I am forcing myself to think about the format that I use. Format is everything, or so I've been told by my teachers. What do you guys have to say on it? I'm anxious to hear

    Third

Another round! I really enjoy drawing from life, but I wonder if having such a wide range of subjects will hinder my progress. Again any and all feedback is welcome! And thanks for viewing

    Hi MarjorieHui!

That's good to know that I'm not the only one trying to think about it. I remember getting so frustrated with composition in high school, so I figured I might as include format in everything that I do in order to get better at it.

practice is a major part of getting better, if you draw and paint every day you will get better quickly.

    Looking Back

Here is a watercolor portrait that I did a couple months past. I was very proud of it but now I realize the proportions are way off.

And also a sketch for a finished illustration I would like to do. I think I'll do some more thumbnails though.

Thanks for viewing! All feedback is welcome
