I guess what i was talking about with the lines is they look a little choppy sometimes, but you could do a lot worse really. You could stand with a better composition for that last landscape imo. Everything stands really close together, makes it feel cramped. What helps for me is to just thumbnail the fuck of an idea, maybe that's a thought?

It's been a rough christmas, my Dad had something like a heart attack and is getting a bit of bypass surgery tomorrow. Not been doing much but heres some digital stuff, i did a few quick value and shape landscape studies. One has a bit of photo on it cus that shit is hard. And an experiment based on Mr Lester Napoleon Green. Iv'e been wanting to take everything really fast, need to listen to hip hop with a slower flow probably.

Landscape study, i think this is good for me but i was hoping it would be something more to be honest, i don't know what went wrong. And a couple of quick doodles on my iPad from imagination.

I like that you're all that drawing from life and the thumbnails are a good idea.
You might want to consider some longer studies to work on your accuracy.

Hi jabbit, thanks for the feedback on my sketchbook. Really liking your work, that last study has some great texture to it although I'm a bit confused by the scale of things. Also really love the study of the back of the females head, something great about the unfinished quality of it. Keep up the good work

a boring sketch thing

The boring sketch thing will look a lot better if use less horizontal lines, some perspective and some more overlap in the shapes. Also, i kind of like that ipad sketch you call rubbish, it's a good attempt to expand your visual language. Trad sketches look nice too, maybe you can loosen up more with the tree and other outside one, like you could try and scribble around more. Keep growing ok?

This new layout is sickly. I have been doing some stuff from life, loads of stuff really but i don't want to upload all of it so this is kind of an arbitrary selection of drawings. The paintings are gouache and are definitely the highlights of the experiments i have done with them.
