I feel an urge to upload everything related to my attempts in art and show it to everyone. Maybe it's because of lack of social life and my trying in overcoming my introvert nature or something else. Or 'cause I like uploading stuff...

So, my Wacom stopped working properly yesterday and it is useless to work with. Looks like I am without tablet for next month or two. I had some unfinished sketches and studies I wanted to post soon, but my tablet thinks otherwise...
Anyway, I started my own paper sketchbook and already did some drawings in it. I'm gonna throw them here soon.

It's finally finished! Based on this photo. Still no colors though, don't really know how to work with them...

Time for some updates. Sketchbook production with digital overlay values.

Punks. Started as anatomy study. Then I just let my hand free and this happened.


Aliens or monsters or alien monsters or something. Two big ones are in almost same pose by mistake, didn't want it...


Lady with unusual head decoration. She is grumpy because she cannot fit in door frames with that stuff on her head.

Hey man, thanks for dropping by my SB and DA. I can tell you're having loads of fun with your work nice to see. Keep this work up and you'll se improvement in no time. For every study, try to use what you learned in a piece from imagination. Doesn't matter if it's a sketch or a detailed illustration - what's important is that you put the new knowledge you've gained into practice.

I also notice you work a lot in black and white, and the few color studies you do are from other people's paintings. I suggest you try to paint something in color directly from life. That way you'll learn about color directly, and not through someone else's interpretation of color. Ofcourse you should keep on doing master studies, but I think painting something in color from life will be a new challenge for you.

As for the black and white paintings, they are all in the same value key. You seem to like painting the darker ranges and then bring in some brighter elements such as glowing weapons and auras etc. You should try to paint in a high-key and see what happens.

I am finally working on something I always wanted to! Can't tell what exactly right now, I'm not under NDA, but still...
Anyway, another Frazetta study for anyone who wanders here. This is a quick one, wanted to finish it ASAP.
