Brief:

The lost fleet. Open-ended.


This week is a tag team week. I want to see how you guys work with each other on an environmental level.

Requirement:
- Your entry must be a collaborative effort between you and another artist.

Wow, a pretty awesome idea. I'll partner with someone, if they'll have me. I already have a couple of penciled thumbs and some other ideas for concept. I will have time over the weekend and during the week to collaborate.

First EoW so, yeah, sorry if its not too great..
Also I've not done a collaboration before either, so I don't know if I've advanced far enough in this picture for someone else to take the reins, better to do not enough than go too far I thought, that way I can do more if I need to
The idea isn't a super original one: I was thinking an armada of ships is led into a pirate ambush by king's men turned traitor, the pirate and traitor ships deal heavy damage to the king's armada, taking down five loyal boats along with their crews. Most of the armada escape and rather than admit that any of the king's men could be corrupted, the Admiral decides to write in the ship's log that eight ships were lost. Those eight ships became known as the lost fleet.
These are the three traitor ships, they became feared and infamous pirates in their own right.

otherwise we run into situations where some teams just wanna be power houses,
its a better learning experince anyway to work with some one at totally diffrent

I'm actually working with a similar theme for client work atm which I unfortunately can't show, so I won't be joining this due to that and time restrictions. Good luck everyone

tag'ing it up with slimeface! I'll post more wips later! This has been so much fun so far. He's working on the foreground and I'm on the background and then we merge and keep painting. We're also using skype and taking turns sharing screen, that helps to get a good view of what's happened and what can be a good next step...

Good call Adrian, but Snafu pm'd me before I saw this. I'm by no means a powerhouse. We have some ideas going I sent some penciled thumbs and we're hopefully going to make a good showing.

Dile...dude you guys are going to rock as a team. That wip is pretty fantastic. Well I guess I poster after Snafu, so we're good to go. Team names are also a great idea!

Maybe we can be something like Munchkin-chuks, or Duosity Unlimited.

I already posted this in my sb so might as well post here. James it "out of town" for a few days so I decided to "cover" for him and start working towards finishing this on my own...



Already received some great critique from Duq here on CA.org concerning tangents and some placement.. so I will deal with that asap... or let james do it when he gets back muhahha
