Hey All!

We are doing free portfolio reviews, live, with stars from the industry, courtesy of www.theartdepartment.org

If you are an art student or CA member, you can sign in here for portfolio reviews (no matter where you are from or going), and get great feedback on your work. CA.O is about helping, sharing, growing and becoming successful and we are happy to have assistance from The Art Department and the industry for this free service to support the community.

1. Sign in and post a thread to this forums for portfolio reviews above.
2. Be sure you attach 6-10 images to the thread. Show your best works and a mix of work from life and imagination.
*** Web links will not be reviewed unless they are in demo reel format. For demo reels you may post the youtube link or site link for the vids.
3. Include your real name, one paragraph about your goals as an artist, and a little bit of info about yourself.
4. If you are seeking scholarships to TAD, let us know. There are select full, half and quarter rides still available.
5. If you are a student, post where you go to school or where you want to go to school so we can provide appropriate feedback. Then submit the thread.
6. Sign in here in this thread, by posting a link to your portfolio thread and posting your name. First come first serve! We will be posting a schedule here in this thread once sign-ups come in. You can see your review both live or on demand.

Hello, thank you so much for this opportunity. I have a trade school degree in 3D animation, am currently pursuing a computer science degree at UC Irvine but I love to paint, sculpt and draw. I am currently looking to expand my environmental concept art and get a firm handle on perspective, and later integrating my character work into a well lit scenery. Each piece I look to utilize limited color palettes, strong thought behind the subject matter, and continue to push creating a completely immersive image.

Here is a link to my art portfolio. I am not immediately looking for a TAD scholarship since I'm already in school, but perhaps in 2 years
