your digital studies are very good and i really like your pencils!
life drawings are the best! an artist once taught me that to be good with life drawing, once you start, dont pick the pencil up from the paper unless the drawing is finished. you'll be surprised. and it also helps in drawing quick actions. dont go for details. i'v tried a few such drawings in my thread too.
Kevin: Thanks
Kasblue: Yeah, also 2min poses can look better than 20min ones, guess it works better sometimes when you just let your hand do the job and not your brain
Some new stuff, I need to practise more on the perspective on the head.
first one is a stupid portrait I did at 3:00 am.

Nice updates; Great work on the last one especially, nice use of light and values there - it looks alive!![]()
Thanks![]()
Some new ish portrait and Loomis studies

Much to do in school but trying to paint something everyday
nice nice studies!
I like colours in that still alive picture...
keep going
Thanks!
New face study, found a really neat filter in photoshop and trying to work with softer brushes.

Just a fun little thing I did awhile ago, thought I would upload it aswell

Cool stuff man, you're skin tones are awesome!

what neat filter man???? what what what?
do you use many brushes while painting? colors are magnificent.
Psychobuddy: Thanks
Kasblue: It's under Filter/Brushstroke/Spatter. Think it's great for giving the skin more texture. I mostly use a soft round brush with a bit of texture on it, sometimes noise too.
Need to study some more anatomy
Soooo much to do in school, will try to update more

wow... beautiful beautiful update... the colors are so fine! lovin it!!
hey... just a reminder... you gotta draw more from your mind!!![]()
thanks, okay next update will be something from mind![]()
Gaah! been awhile.. Some armour studies and a zombie portrait!
![]()
wow... those armor studies are awesome. specially the last one. you have painted those reflections spot on. you can use those studies on a figure in action too. pick up an action ref and try to paint armor on it. i think i'll try this too.![]()
Love the armor studies as well as the portraits, you really capture the material and lighting.
For the imagination painting in 50, the rendering is very well done, but the pose feels somewhat stiff.
e-nat: Thanks, yeah I agree, the pose is what kills it, it was a older character I forgot to finish so I just wanted to make something of it.
Some studies for a new picture, thought I would try to make my own monster

A space-fantasy picture I´ve been working on, right now it feels abit flat, I got foreground and middleground but can't seem to get the background right..
I'm kinda new to environments, any ideas?
