Well, this is done.
Gouache on watercolor paper, photo reference, 6 hours.

Forest path in subtropical swampy area... Magical and soothing. Great job!

Nice. Just the tree trunks seems to be getting wider instead of narrower. And try to add more spots with red hue - complement of green. It should make the image more vibrant.

And if you can do it from a photo why not to go out and do it in plein-air?
