You are progressing, man. I like a direction you are moving on. The more emotions in your drawings The more I love it. My favorites are last horses and a bearded man. Little advise - I think you should work on human faces, they look stiff (with some exceptions), draw them with emotions, I see you can catch it. Keep going, very nice sketchbook

I like your lines! Your definitely going in the right direction. Keep pumping those pose and anatomy studies out because every bit of mileage helps. Your 'disney' style horse in the last post looks freaking great. The lines are just enough to suggest mass without being so detailed that it loses that stylized flavor. Good stuff.

@ill bunny hey tanks for coming by, you are right on the stiffness sometimes i hope the quick portraits help to fix that, tho i am going to study separate features and get around those better, i loved drawing maximus and actually i learned ALOT about dynamism in animals its awesome!
@Shahan hey thanks for the useful advice, im having trouble working from my head sometimes but im getting through it i just have to keep the machine well oiled
@dimi Thanks! i will keep it up!

@yemi775 hey thanks! i did tho some on paper, im trying to be balanced right now, tho i think it would be best if i stray from linework in the tablet and leave that to color

wow just finished another notebook, this one started in december 4th DAMN 9 days and the sketchbook is finished i have no idea if that is a good thing or not, anyway i got only one left, i have to make more when i get home for holidays D:

Hey man - Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook and the nice comments.

I think you have some really solid anatomically sound sketches here. You just need to push it more. Repetition, everyday, is key.

I've got a copy of the Tangled artbook myself. Not sure if that's what you were using for reference, but definitely a great art book to have in your collection.

Thats a good value exercise, keep doing these. I dont have any more feedback right now. Try to remind yourself to seeing and drawing/painting anything as 3d forms, well its a matter of doing more and more, keep up mate !!!

Hi mate! I sense the scent of improvement here. Your line is more secure and clean. And you don't suck at faces. It seems you suffer of flatten face. Don't know if you do it, but try to take measurements with pencil, entrust what you see and follow the advices of the great masters. I'm trying Charles Bargue Drawing Course now. It's interesting to copy his models, they're so precise and clean, and the construction on geometric lines helps a lot. If you don't done it yet try this manual. And try looking to this: http://www.learning-to-see.co.uk/archive

Hi my friend! Thank you very much for your advices. I surely look for jack hamm books. And for the schedule... You're absolutely right. Indeed from yesterday I decided to, as far as possible, make about 2 or 3 drawings per day: one from manuals, one from real life and one of environment. I don't lack of time, but I spend much of it to study from manuals, and I have to find a work... so I will do my best, and organize better my time.
Till the next time... Good Holidays and Merry Christmas! And... obviously... DRAW!

Man! Your creature are really good! Making it in ANYTHING requires you to keep going no matter what and also to do your very best even if you are feeling the very worst. It is MUCH easier to say than to do but every single person who has been successful will tell you that WHEN the sucky time come the choice you have to make to be a winner is to keep going and be CONSISTENT! Don't fall into the trap of new year's resolutions! Make every week a new year! That is how I keep picking myself up when I fall. Keep being awesome!! Thank you for all your support!
Do a lot of work and your work will be as good as your ambitions.
