    Sci-fi monster battle co-lab.

Me and a classmate are working on this collaboration. Just starting to put the pieces togheter and this is as far we have got.

The space station have been picking up a strange creature, it turned loose and has consumed most of the crew. One of the remaining crewmembers are strugling to get a final shot at the monster.

The human is the weak point of this picture. First, his pose. If he's trying to get a shot at the creature, why is his body facing the camera instead of the monster? Get a reference, I want to see him really struggling rather than standing in an odd, static pose.

Secondly, his armor colors are strangely saturated and don't go well together, and the textures are very plastic-looking.

If the monster has a rim-light on its face, why isn't this rim-light present anywhere else?

i think the skull inside the monster is really cool, and even though i can slightly see another at the bottom, i think you need more skeleton stuff to emphasize what the monster has eaten. it looks very odd with only one skull in the middle of the monsters back, especially because it's so visible in a rather large empty area. i understand that you have put your monster that far a head so that you can show the skull, but i would consider pulling it a bit back so that the head is in the third, it will flow better composition wise
