Like that last set of drawings, really solid. Might want to spend some more time measuring out facial features, not just vertically but horizontally - those last couple of heads have their eyes too close together. =)

Nice stuff! Maybe it would be a good idea to turn the pen pressure on for size though, because the values in the last greascale sketches are good, but they look very messy. Concerning the eyes especially, you should do some studies where you really work on getting the details right, because in all your complete pieces the eyes are what looks most unfinished
Please take a look at my Sketchbook! <- Comments are highly appreciated and returned C:

Great updates. Gotta love the dedication!

For painting over grayscale, I would suggest this video: http://vimeo.com/55068523
Also nice value studies, keep it up, man!

haha that skateboard warrior is awesome. i didn't realise that those were wheels at first. really cool design idea, and good job painting it too.
setting a layer to mode "Color" might be helpful in painting over grayscale. I havn't really tried doing that much yet.
keep on practicing all the different areas patiently, and don't get frustrated if you jump ahead of yourself and don't get the results you want yet
the main thing i see that could improve in your paint studies is that many of the elements simply aren't laid out correctly before you start painting in (ie. facial features aren't set in just the right places, etc). it might be helpful to spend a while just focusing on blocking things in and learning to do that precisely, to really get a stronger grip on it

Hi man great progress since the start, my main thing to say would be generally be cleaner and more confident with your shapes. You've already improved that a lot but keepd oing that. Those nose studies for example, working in 3 values and splitting it into confident planes will read much better and more solid. Once you have that you can go in with the blending and such with that strong structure underneath it all. Same with environments. Keep strong basic shapes and work out your basic composition and value structure before getting too messy.
