    这次是苹果~ This time, I painted some apples~

Thanks for your advice last time which I painted a corner of a bathroom.

This time I get some apples to you, I think it is still a bit of busy, sorry~~ But I think in the one hand BUSY is not well, yet in the other hand BUSY is a good approach to underline the theme. What do you think?

Nice. I just think that little more of color variety would help here. And some more detailed area to focus on.

    Cheers

Not every one has form. I don't mind a lack of focal point as I don't think this type of composition needs it, but it does mean you need to treat each apple equally and bare in mind the relationship to its neighbour more.

I agree with blackspot about the form. I think the composition would work a lot better if the forms of the apples where more specific and better defined. I think the interest would come from how beautifully you could render each individual apple while their similarity would blend them together to bring unity in the composition.

I'm astonished you got as much form as you did. Would you consider getting a lamp or something to change the lighting situation so you could see the differences between light and dark more clearly? Then the form would be much more obvious.

This is a good painting overall; however I can see why others have feedback towards the composition, form, and color choice.

The composition is very closed and cramped, but for your subject matter (i.e. the apples), that is fine; as long as that is what you wanted to convey. Also, there is a sense of monotony (every apple seems somewhat the same). I feel that this painting can be developed further by continuing to render (or push the value more) the apples, especially the darkest areas. When I paint or draw, I always try to squint my eyes as I look at my subject(s). That way, I can easily distinguish the darkest darks, darks, midtones, lights, etc.

I really enjoy your brushwork that has created a number of interesting textures. From this, I can see that the apples have a smooth, glossy surface.

But always remember to grasp the feedback you feel will help you improve. You don't have to take my advice if you don't think it will apply

Yes. The time to paint this creation is too short to be of enough description~ it's about 27cm*35cm, but only paid my 2 hours.

Not alone, but not all the apples cast a shadow on the one next to it when you would expect it.

Rendering it is putting more detail in to make it more realistic. I don't think it needs it as it is sweet as is.

Try getting the shading darker that will show every apple as a different subject ...
Get your dark areas even darker and yeah in my opinion there aren't enough colors try putting some more if not in this one try on other paintings just for exercise .. But great job ^_^
Looking for my pencil did you see it ?

I like a lot, very graphic. Maybe keep it the same and try using advice on another painting. I think separating apples with shadows will ruin it.

Very nice painting. I agree with the previous criticisms too. Was this in acrylic?
