Hi rv, really nice studies in here, and you seem to have a great eye also for sculpture,
Maybe try some constraint studies sometimes, like only hard brush or this kind of thing to
get out of your comfort zone.
Anyway, i'm sure you'll have kick ass work very soon, keep sharing et vive la bière!

What I like about your environments is that even though they are really lose, it's easy to see what you are drawing and what you want to portray. The mood is also easy to pick up so I think you have succeeded in settling down the mood like you said you aim to do.
I also like your pencil sketches of the trolls/aliens

Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook, RV.

You've got a lot of really good stuff in here. I especially like your landscapes (I should call them environments to keep up with you game folks but it just sounds weird, heh) and also the cloud studies at the top. Also really like the hooded figure in post #10. Great light and atmosphere.

Good luck with your studies and keep posting!

I like what you did with the new brushes, the looseness of them. Good job on the orc face. Keep it up!
