Awesome stuff! I totally dig your Rendering 101 series; I should try that out too Yeah, like someone else pointed out, you're kinnnnda jumping into details before getting the forms right.

What I really like about your thread is that you are learning at an organized pace with planning., especially the last couple of pages. I should try this.
Don't bother looking at my sketchbook. I haven't updated that thing in years. :/

Hey man, saw that you was in a study group a few months ago but the other guy quit. Wanted to know if you wanted to start another one with me, I'm gonna try and find some people to be in it, think it will be good to have weekly challenges and try and push each other . Anyways, nice perspective stuff, my crit would be to try and work it into your organic forms more, remember that they are the same as geometric forms just made up of more abstracted shapes, but your working really hard and showing a lot of progress so I'm sure that won't be a problem

thanks for the comments guys. im focusing on building my visual library at the moment and structural analysis so rendering might go by the wayside for a bit.

heres some rough sketches of japanese armour. Good points, getting a lot looser and faster, bad points, watch proportions! and show the form

I wish I had your patience. Teach me, oh great one! And make sure to use that monk-like voice you have. Seriously tho, how long did the changes and loops on the last thing take?

You know what i would like to see?
You loosen up. I heard you were doing some traditional stuff? Where is that?
Ill be tighter for a while, if you be looser for a while. That way we dont upset the balance of the world. Deal?
    Maybe try some gestures.

Can't believe I just found your sketchbook. I'll see if I can give you some crit. I would love to see some more Pencil work coming from you. Nobody on this website would disagree with the good 'ol graphite! Nothing teaches you hand eye coordination faster than the pen and pencil. Oh and speaking about pen, I guarantee if you spend a month drawing everyday in pen you will see a HUGE difference in your drawings.

Anyway dude I admire your work and it's something that everyone can take a slice out of. Keep at it!

Props to you for all your hard work on the figure studies! I can see you are working on structure and muscle study, good job! Have you tried going to lifedrawing sessions? Nothing better than drawing the real thing. It'll also help with flow and loosening your drawings when you're quickly drawing those 30 sec to 3min poses
Really inspiring to see all your hard work in your studies, I look forward to seeing more!

Wow way to destroy the internet!!! I like all the designs you are doing. How far have you taken any of these drawings, though? As in, Have you tried taking one and seeing how many angles you can draw it at? Or tried to put some detailed shading and stuff on it? Do it duuuuuude I wanna seeeeee!
