I'm sooo MCMLXXXVIII.
Yeah, it worked for me, just open it in Photoshop.
It looks pretty cool, what book's it for?

when I try to right click and save, save target is grayed out. In fact I haven't been able to right click save anything in a while. Anyone know what might be wrong?
The link provided by Morphine above works, just rightclick -> save.

jason: Great pic! One question. I notice that your work is always very saturated with extremes of blue and orange. Is this just a personal preference or is there some methodology behind it apart from the obvious complementary colours?
Can't you put it up as a low-res jpg? For those of us who don't have the software to open CMYK files?
Thanks,
DF
Probably CMYK or something?
The image soo rocks Jason, congratulations!
EDIT: David, are there really people here without PS? How can you live? ;-) It works in Windows pictureviewer too
thanks everyone..iI dont know why the image wont show up. I linked it properly and it is up on conceptart...it just wont load for some reason. Ill have to try moving it to a new location.
the image is the cover for for david freemans new book Creating Emotion in Video Games from New Riders Publishing. I dont know how much i can tell other than there is going to be a lot of art in the book from artists you all are very familiar with.
dave here is the top screenwriting instructor in the country. check out what he does at www.beyondstructure.com
he has also become the games industry expert in story development and has worked for many of the major publishers...including activision and EA and Universal. He is a wealth of knowledge and is an absolute master of promotion. Watch for his name on the big games...its going to be on many of them for a long time.
so thats the intro....
with all those amazing credentials...I think its time to get dsl david...and photoshop and a good monitor. after all..man can not live on dialup alone. with dsl we dont have to snail mail artwork ever again. with a good monitor you can see it. with photoshop, you can change the image resolution with a hit of a button.
cheers
heheheheh

:mumble: CMYK images won't show up on your browser.
My link has the exact location of the file Jason put online.
I just copied its URL and put it as a link, so you can right-click and save.
There's no need to move the file.
Just re-save it as an RGB file and you're done.
Or save it for web on Photoshop. (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S)
btw, nice pic, Jason.
I'm sooo MCMLXXXVIII.
thanks morphine.:chug:
Jason, your work is amazing.:evilbat:
For those of you in Los Angeles, or who live elsewhere but have access to a good magazine stand...
Jason's art will be printed in this Wednesday's issue of "Daily Variety," one of the daily film trades. It will accompany an article I wrote on how to bring emotion into games.
Actually, Jason spoiled some fun I was going to have regarding the book. I was going to answer a previous question about the book by posting a note here which said,
"Jason's art is the cover for a new government book on the containment and eradication of extra-terrestrial biological entities, being prepared by the Department of Defense. DOD classifies aliens into five groups: lizard-like aliens; creature-like aliens; shape-shifting aliens; aliens who do medical experiments on humans and animals; and telepathic aliens. Jason's painting, which is reprinted in the book, demonstrates the recommended procedure for managing hostile creature-type aliens. This book is expected to become a staple for anyone who has had an encounter with a hostile extra-terrestrial, or who anticipates having one in the near future."
hehehheheh...I would have cracked up"Jason's art is the cover for a new government book on the containment and eradication of extra-terrestrial biological entities, being prepared by the Department of Defense.
