IP Banned

Hi.

Apparently my IP address where I currently live is banned. I haven't been able to access the CA forums at all since I moved in, except when tethering the internet on my iPhone. I believe the internet connection is probably shared with other households, since it's included in the rent and I don't really have anything to with it besides surfing the web -- perhaps one of the other households has caused the ban..?

I've tried emailing webmasterATconceptart.org, which shows up along the message about the IP ban, but the doesn't seem to get me anywhere...

I hope this can somehow be fixed.

An administrator can probably help you much more than I. But I have looked into it in as much as I can.

I can't see any other banned users or problems on any of the IP addresses your profile has used.
Do you get an actual banned message when you try to log in?

I get the message when trying to access conceptart.org/forums/

I've never been able to access the forums from that IP address at all, so my profile has never had anything to do with it -- probably explains why you don't see any issues.

I'm currently at work and don't remember the actual IP address, but I'll be home to check up on it later during the evening (CET).

Should I send you a PM with the IP address then, or try getting in touch with someone else?

Regardless of your profile having any issues, (of which there are none) there are no issues on any of the profiles. I examined the all the users that share your IPs and they are all registered, normal users. Must be something before my time or something I cannot see.

I checked the IP address, the registration one and current ones and see no issues. I even tried to see if the start of part of the address was wildcard banned and did not find anything banned.

Cool, I did not miss anything. I still want to know exactly what happens when you come to the site on the 'problem' IP, JoFi.
A screenshot would be the most useful thing you could provide us with at this stage.

Well, the registration one is an old address and the current one is tethering my iPhone -- both of which I haven't experienced any problems with.

I'll post a screenshot as soon as I get home to my troublesome IP address. Hopefully, it will shine some light on things!

I appear to be logged in from the last session, but really, it's just for show. I can't even log out when using the troublesome IP address -- just get a 404.

I will PM the address shortly.

The IP isn't banned. I did a partial check and on the first half there were about 8 members of which 3 were banned. 2 of those were the same person who joined under 9 different names. http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...83#post1967083, maybe banning this person has had a knock on effect. Over to you Arshes.

I found it. The ban was done before I was around as an admin. It wasn't a properly set IP ban so fixed.
