Alright, so I am interested in getting into comic book illustration. I've gotten a bit of a late start, so the last few years have been dedicated pretty much to learning to draw. Now, I think I'm ready to start trying to build a portfolio. But there's some very basic things I need to know, that I don't.
Mostly, supplies.
What kind of paper am I suppose to use? What size?
What kind of pencils? What kind of lead? I read somewhere about sketching in blue colored pencil? Do people still do that?
What's the best eraser to use?
I realize that there will be different opinions as far as brands go, and if you have a suggestion, by all means please share! But I really need to know the types of supplies I should look for so that I can at least have somewhere to start.
