Woah, awesome works you've got there! 8D
You style is incredible and the studies (especially the last hands) are very cool looking, too! (Yay for trueform!Castiel and the trenchcoat sketch)![]()

Woah, that study chart's a bloody good idea, at this case it's really going to cause a trend. I'll have to make myself one too. With credit to you, of course. I see some nice ideas bouncing around in your sketches too. I'd love to see you take them concepts and put the intoa fully fleshed finished picture, right now they remind me of idea thumbnails, so it seems the natural course of action.
Anways, keep up the good work!
I think you better control the digital and besides, you do very well.
There are really great job here.
CongratulationsContinue !

@Heyriel *blushes* you flatter me!
@Naidy i plan to finish some of them when i come back from Greece (i'm leaving the day after tomorrow) in a week :3
@Tef yeah, i like digital more because i can see my work surface better. it's easier for me to come up with better composition and all that. maybe if i had an easel it would come as easy irl too xD
thank you!
@gmc9987 ah, thank you! i can't believe i progressed, but if you say so i shall believe you!
not much, just some imagination sketches...

hello lovelies
i'm back from greece. wasn't all it was cracked up to be, but i had fun. swam so much i fear i might get mold soon. got drunk on the last night and realised liquor tastes foul and that i'm a too-honest-drunk.
didn't draw much, just doodled with no regard for anything
i will post later tonight some furniture studies - thank god for ikea catalogues, amirite?-, as well as some anatomy studies
trying something new...some kind of architecture drawing...still a newb at those, but i figure that if i take it slow i might end up with something slightly cartoonish but understandable...?
logos i did for a friend just after i come back
he settled for number 3
number 1 was done after what he sketched for me as a guideline

Hi there!![]()
I really like how there's already some improvement throughout the thread -nodnod- Your anatomy is really good and all, but to be honest I really love your concept drawings (the one with the wonky limbs and stuff) because there's something very expressive about those!
As for your architectural attempt, the building is really pretty but I definitely recommend adding a vanishing point if you're going to have the little roof-thing of the bottom door come out like that. It'll help you place other elements of the building too.
Keep up the good work!![]()
@letsgopangolin
there iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis? *shiny eyes* i thought i was at a standstill and getting frustrated xD
i love them too, tbh, because i feel i am more expressive in them, not giving a fuck about anatomy and the like lets me express stuff more emotionally i guess
will do! thank you! :3

Thanks for your comment on my sketchbook.
Your work is a lot of fun to look at, some of the full colour illustrations have a nice feel to them, almost like fashion style illustration. I would say to do more life studies if you wish to improve, but also don't stop drawing from imagination. Best of luck![]()

"Don't worry about your originality. You could not get rid of it even if you wanted to. It will stick to you and show you up for better or worse in spite of all you or anyone else can do" Robert Henri
Yes, totally! I think everyone improves from the helpful crit on this forum :]
It looks like you did those watercolors on something like regular printer paper. I know you're coloring old sketches but I think you should invest in some watercolor paper to at least play around in :] You'll see a big difference! You'll have total control over your colors, too, and you won't get those random dark spots that you can't control '-'
Don't be afraid to layer colors, either. It adds a lot of richness to it. That's another reason why I'm recommending watercolor paper because it can hold all those layers! (If you already have watercolor paper, then.. use it! Hehe)
Your concepts are really really cool! I love your sketches. "Messy and dirty" ones are the best, they have the most character!
Thanks for the comment on my sb, by the way ^^
@black-swan thank you! now that i'm in college i'll have plenty of opportunities to do so!
@letsgopangolin i just bought some watercolour paper, as per your advice!
i thought my sketchbook paper was good for them too, but seems i was wrong (i use a derwent sketchbook) xD
so college just started, and i am very excited for my first year there! my teachers are awesome, and the courses very interesting. i've also picked up writing again, and thus dwelved into he world of words and neglected my drawing a bit. no matter, back on track with semi-daily updates from now on :3
tegaki e doodles:
a small illustration
sketchbook pages (one of them has some studies from life i did before my friends arrived)
i've been drawing flowers
i quite enjoy it
there's this subreddit on reddit.com specially for people who ask nicely of people to draw some stuff for them
and i filled a few requests:
a guy's family crest
an electrical circuit in the shape of a fleur de lis
i also have some doodles in my note thingies from college
but i'll upload those later
oops forgot some of the sketchbook pages
i really need to organize where i paste these things

college time doodles
the schedule is still hectic, am still struggling to balance school, social life, writing and drawing. but i will, in time
it's one of those rare periods in life when i'm happy
despite a break up, and a new relationship blooming...i seem to be struggling emotionally much less.
i guess this shows in my drawings because i've stopped being so anal retentive about them
and just drew

Very nice but try to sketch more human figures, if you dont have model you can use mirror and sketch yourself. Sometimes you can sketch something from photo but its better to sketch something from real.
I will, thank you!
I have some body image issues, so sketching from a mirror image of myself would probably not send me into a mental happy place... >_>
But I'll start figure drawing at least once or twice a week when I catch free time!
