Since my old webspace went down some of my earlier work went down with it
A great tragedy to the world? I think not...
There's new stuff at the later pages (obviously), So what are you waiting here for if you can check that out

i have desided to take drawing more serious and take more time to create more correct figures.
ive taken a look at the gesture dvd that vilppu made and started to experiment with the technique , these are the results for today
c&c more then welcome
first i'm gonna say study anatomy and foreshortening. next tho, imma say its good to see new artists developing and i encourage you to keep at it. keep posting.
tnxive been drawing some more today
the head is my fathers drawn from a picture ive taken
the baby head is my little nephew, i was live drawing him but my sister left to early so i couldnt complete it

reworked the sketch
i would really like some critiques on this one
i want to get it as good as possible when it comes to perspective/ anatomy
for anyone who is intrested (dont see much comments in here)
an update on my cow entry

Reference is very helpful to getting believable anatomy. If the anatomy is off, anyone can tell even if they are not an artist. My best suggestion is to use reference, like for your latest COW entry...you could have used a piranha or angler fish reference so that you could have achieved a believeable head and then used some animal and/or fish reference for the rest...hope this helps.
tnx for the info i tried creating some creatures with reference
the proportions arnt realistic but there creatures for something right ^^

The cow entries are cool, but if you are going to take drawing seriously and try to improve, you need to do more figure studies. A lot more, as in everyday if possible. Really concentrating on the basics- anatomy, proportions, perspective, etc...will help you improve in every way. I would suggest putting the cows aside for a few months or so and concentrate on nothing but figure studies. It might get cumbersome but stick to it. Take some classes, get some books, or just draw what's around like you did with your father. That's where you're going to learn the most and the best. Best wishes![]()
nice..Piranha is right..until you master the human figure in is totality, the other studies could be done just for fun..once you can draw a human and paint its skin..everything else is a piece of cake.. ..i recomend you to copy some master drawings..they will teach tons..avoid photographs for now..
my new site, is crazy stuff but is my own space, I can say whatever!! hehe:

One of the art schools I respect the most:

my study of the human muscles
the back part is drawn a little to much to the left so it isnt 50/50 as you can see
im going to do some more anatomy sketches, my proportions on this one are wrong
i was to focused on the muscles so i forgot to build up the body in a proper way

character design that would fit in the world of Final Fantasy

here is my colored version
and now back to drawing anatomy ^^
I suggest to listen to Piranha Clan and the_allejo05. I said it more then once, first learn the basics..
And more then a couple of sketches, fill a whole sketchbook with anatomy studies..I really dont think you'll improve your skills alot with the way you are trying now.
Just a tip.
Ow and btw, people are trying to give comments. A response would be nice, now it seems like you are ignoring them.
im following the advise you guys have given me and bought myself a sketchbook thats reserved for anatomy studies only
here are some facial studies ive drawn today

tnx ^^
in the mainwhile im watching some dvds on perspective/vehicle design by scot roberston. So afther watching one on hoovercraft design i tried to do some quick vehicle sketches with a marker
they are just to define some shapes so lateron i can draw them bigger/more detailed in perspective
EDIT:a little bigger rework of one of the ships

Liking the eye and mouth studies very much. Defenitly see improvement here, but I would defenitly like to see more anatomy sketches. I know its more fun to draw stuff out of your imagination but you really can grow more on that aspect.
But good start man! Keep it coming I will be looking.
tnx for the comment
i am focusing on learning anatomy drawing so i can get beter at it![]()
A few armstudies i did today
![]()
my first matte painting im still working on
![]()
after a period of not much drawing i decided to pick up my pencils again and go for it.
As you can see i still need to practice some more on my anatomy but ill just have to continue drawing if i want to get better at it
