I hope no one minds if I critique a bit :p
blazingdimensions I like the idea of your piece, it looks as if you ran out of time though and it seems pretty rough. Other then the perspective problems that Zelda Geek mentioned Ash definitely has some proportional issues. His left elbow reaches his crotch while the left hand falls nearly to the knee. The elbow should be at hip level while the wrist should be at the crotch level. I actually just think Ash's bottom half of his body should be extended. Anyway, I suggest ding perspective studies and proportions of the human body. Loomis' figure drawing book goes over both so take a look. Also, this falls somewhat in line with the perspective, but I feel I should mention it. Charizard's farthest side is slouching so far that the hand is lower then the nearest hand. However, nothing else on that furthest side of charizard shows any sign of slouching other than the pec. Again, it's just perspective you have to work on, everybody does (especially me).
Forrest_I You suck penis. What the fuck is that? A scribble? Cmon.
Monsieur-Beefy Your piece reminds me of pokemon snap... I don't know why. Anyway! I like the motion happening in the piece, it's an obvious action scene, which is good for the challenge. One thing that deters me from the piece though, and I'm not sure if this is just me being picky or not, Pikachu looks more like a dog to me than a mouse. I think it's the size of the nose, or maybe how far the nose goes out, I'm not sure. Other then that I feel like you could've gone with more contrasting values in the piece. Darker shadows and brighter highlights would make the action stand out more.
so what happens when we tie? o.O
