I agree with vices about the ‘3d feeling and the poses’, good job with those bodys! The suits have a metallic shine, looking cool!![]()

I think that it was a phenomenal idea to start a sketchbook here,
cause it boosted up your art qualities, and has brought you to some
new unexplored junctions. A life changing experience. Your characters being
dynamic, need to say that I am mega motivated with the sketches, drawings that
you posted in #42, you said there that you have been drawing from 6PM till 2AM,
well that definitely payed off. I like to see improvements in such a quick and
effective way, maybe I am wrong, but I think that the character designs are
the strongest that I saw on the previous pages. I would also highlight those poses
in post #79. Well, you definitely have it. You just need to pursue it. Sorry
for not visiting for so long. You take care and keep working, I will try to keep up.
LtPlissken: Thank you for such for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and encouraging commentI am and will be pursuing it.
Greenhouse: Thank you!
Vices: Thank you. I will
tabletoppler: Thank you, that's very motivating to read
Anyway, this felt like I bit off more than I could chew. I think I need to start with linework if I'm going to do a full illustration.
That's all for now![]()
Sweet work! I love the sci-fi girls with armors!!I see you’re working very easy with the pen and brushes, that’s nice and it seems to be the right way to construct an image or a concept. Keep going, I’m very curious of where you're heading!

More sketches.
oh jama...
Some progress on that last one. Any thoughts towards this piece are very welcome.
great sketchbook, a lot of inspiration here
thanks
This whole thread shows a TON of improvement, congratulations are in orderLots of great studies, their impact is clearly visible when you go back to page 1.
I love how solid your designs and characters feel now: they have instant depth and form. Something I definitely aspire to being so glued to linework.
Great work overall, subbed!
Hey, nice sketchbook. In relation to your last piece maybe you could add a little atmosphperic perspective where the bridge is further away. Also, i think the shadows may be off. For example the shadow is right underneath the flying vehicle but the shadow from the structures on the bridge is different.
jablar: Thanks
Morkai: Thank you!
Nestoronfire: Thanks. I'll try fixing it.

wutangclam: Thanks. I learned perspective mainly through Loomis' book: Creative Illustration. You can find the book as a pdf using google. Other than that I just practiced the simple stuff over and over (i.e. boxes in 1,2 and 3 point perspective).
Doing some backdated CHOW's (or CharacterForge on cghub).
An experiment
A new wip.
I paid special attention to correct perspective when constructing the body here. Quite happy with the result but any further notes are welcome.
