Dimlull: Great concept, I think the next step is to find a graceful transition between the main body and the windstorm... maybe have feathers swirling where the two areas join. Looking forward to a colored version.
SygniSC: Looks like progress is coming along, I get an immediate water feel from this. Just needs a bit more form definition on the tail.
tsabu: I love the strokes in both of these. Only thing is I feel like they're competing with their environments, it's kind of tough to establish where the creature ends and the background begins. I actually think that's a cool effect in and of itself, just maybe not for a contest where clarity of form is important.
Noro: Really nice work. Now that it's there the fire is actually a nice touch to this.
Firith: I really like the lighting on the earth bear, but the wind creature has a more inventive design. Really looking forward to see how that one turns out.
GammaGrey: Hmm, yeah, it might be straddling the line between earth and fire. But maybe not, even a volcano has a rocky exterior. I think if the furnace elements were ramped up just a little it could work, maybe add some bright saturated colors at the focal.
kora: Thanks for the feedback, yeah, I was going for eyes more than arms lol. That kind of ambiguity is sort of interesting, but you're right that it should be more clear one way or the other in something like this. Was hesitant about placing them too high to avoid any sort of humanoid look/proportions.
Your angler salamander's design is remarkably well thought out. I think for a color scheme, it might be wise to make the body predominantly dull or dark colored; seems that might be helpful for it to stay hidden while its tail attracts prey. The darker top most red palette looks like a really good choice.
Kivos: Great colors, almost looks like crayon in some parts. I think the crystal is a great approach to the earth element so I'd polish that feature more as you work on this. It has a kind of humanoid build though so I'd sketch out different body types from here on. Really unique, hoping to see more on this soon.
Jeremy Colwell: I really like your fire elemental the most of these, it feels like more thought was put into the design and it's got a lot of energy in the composition. The wind elemental doesn't particularly look like a creature quite yet, but more like tangled fabric; I might think about what you could add to tell us this thing is really alive (come to think of it, I might need to do the same).
Abee: Liking the shapes so far, can't wait to see how it develops. Something about the lighting reads 'underwater', though it's a really tough, rugged looking organism. Nice contrast.
lkjhgfdsa: Awesome angle and scale. I think adding some values closer to white might really get that fire feeling across.
Calireayn: Huge improvement, much more wind-like. I like how head even resembles an airplane cockpit. Great feathery strokes as well, turning out nicely.
NightHerald Remember that shadows are a good way to add weight to a figure, I think some darker tones underneath the feet can help. Hope you find time to finish!
ashess: This thing is creepy but I love it. Might be good to add more room to the frame on the right, sort of odd how the flipper's been cropped.
JanJager: That rainbow effect is fantastic, I've gotta figure out how to do that soon. No real crits about this, I'll be waiting eagerly for the finished version.
VegasMike: Incredibly crafted and beautifully presented. That's really all I can say.
Slight progress here. Probably going to need to crop off the extra space on the side...

Now that it's there the fire is actually a nice touch to this.

I guess...
