Geez continue, looking through this sketchbook is such a pleasure.
Those latest studies are great, sorry, nothing constructive from
my side at the moment. Just encouragement.

nice.....!
THanks everybody! And your encouragement's always appreciated StarEater.
Maisie: yep wtf is what they are ;D. I actually do more traditional drawings right now than digital. I got this huge stack of filled sketchbooks and like 400s pages of print paper(well, I bought a thousand so that's 500 something more to fill up) just eating away my space. Oh well, I think I'll photograph some later when my comp got fixed. Still drawing on the tablet is impossible though, can't get any good lines at all. Hmmm.. anyway, I'll post a photo of the poop stacks later.
So my most beloved laptop just completely crashed and refused to start when I was having a video chat with Ben, one of my former comrades-in-arms at school. And my mom's computer froze and BlueScreenOfDeathed as well when I was trying to resume the conversation. So yeah, the very painful effect of being struck by the unique voice and likeness of the Techno-Antichrist.
(I think it has more to do with the video cam driver being buggy THB)
And now, I have absolutely no way to actually fixing it 'cept for sending for hard drive repairs, and I might lose the 700 GBs of stuff and the hundreds of hours and dollars I put into collecting them. And the music, the tutorials my friends gave me, all the stuff I payed for, all the movies, the 200 gigs of reference pictures, all the photos of my cherished memories, and most importantly, all my old art 'n stuff....
And I'm going on a trip to Shanghai tomorrow which I have no way of canceling. And that goes all my plans for digital painting along the way. And I'll have to be forced to be torn from my most vital body part(I mean, my laptop) for 2 bloody fucking painful and hellish weeks.
Well, and I just couldn't be more upset right now.
Dont worry too much about losing stuff on the hard disc, mine break once a year with no back up s and they always manage to pull everything off, total cost about £100 including a new disc and a complte replica of your old OS and documents. So dont sweat that. They will of course look through all your porn, but theyre compute nerds, the stuff on their hard discs would curl your hair, so dont sweat that either.
Also, youd be amazed if it is gone how quickly you mourn the loss, cut it off and move on with new better work.
Your comment made me laugh a lot. You know Chuck Norris has never actually seen an explosion? Its true, hes always walking away like a boss.

Great paints! All I can say is keep up the good work
But don't be too discouraged by your computer problems, it really sucks when something like that happens but sometimes it might be a good thing to cut the navel cord between you and your laptop and enjoy your holiday. After a break you'll probably have tons of energy for a fresh start![]()
Oh man! What a great SB. Thank You for sharing. Please keep it up!!
J: Don't call my escorts hookers.
B: Mom's still got it!
J: I don't date whores!
L: This objectification of women has to stop!
M: It's just mom and whores...

@VK, hahaha, they can look at all the porn if they want, nothing too strange there. Yep, moving on is the way to go.
And yes, Chuck Norris is a cool guy, and cool guys don't look at mothafucking explosions.
@Lav, thank you very much. And well, I didn't enjoy the vacation but I did get tons of energy from it. Onward to, well, more drawings.
@NakedZergling, thank you.
Well, I still haven't fixed my harddrive yet, but at least I'm back from the trip.
The whole trip is probably the most miserable 10 days I've ever spent in my life. We drove around half of the country and, there's just nothing worth seeing, and all the major tourist spots are hideous as hell. Well, at least I'm not paying for the seven thousand dollars it cost.
So yeah, with how horrible everything was, I made lots of drawings. Quite a lot of these were done while driving around terrible mountain roads, so the lines got really crappy sometimes. But oh well, at least I'm satisfied with the amount. And yeah, got a hell lot better at drawing people with clothing, cars, animals and buildings.
So happy I brought along my Ken Hultgren animal book, and the Michael Hampton figure drawing book. Copying from them was quite fun.

Okey, rest of the drawings from the 10-day trip
whoa. lots of cool stuff here, and I'm in the same boat as you, I suppose - had to drop school because of money. keep up the good work, sir.
Thanks MrFrenik. Yeah, education is just fucking retardedly expensive ;__;

since i always see this amazing little dragon icon up one the page i just had to post in herevery nice sb. i love your traditional sketches but your digital works are super amazing. i think i can learn one or two things from watching them.

Awesome studies man! Great grasp of value and colors.
I'd love to see more original work!
Those digital studies are great and I must say very helpful for me to figure out a better way to do some stuff in my experiments hah. Keep it up!
Hey thanks guys for the comments.
@lux: Thank you very much! Now that's quite flattering. I have so much to learn from the artists here myself.
@Patonki: Yay love you too! Moar original works are coming.
@Julius: hahhaa, danke xD
So just a WIP. Sporeman. You can see the sketch a few posts back.
Definitely gonna finish this.

Doing mostly traditional work. Gonna do a drawing update soon.
But here are some digis
![]()
Nice colours on your digitals dude, I dig those ones specially, and the doodles in the car were quite cool too ( especially the ones in wich you draw what you see from the car). If there's any advice from me , would be to export the very nice gestural stuff you do in the little sketches to the bigger ones, cause there's a bit of lack of confidence in the bigger drawings, if you try to be gestural there too, and combine that with hat you already know things are gonna be sweet for real. I'd also put more contrast into most the stuff, apart from that everything looks pretty decent man. Quite entertaining to travel throught your SB, cheers! ;D
daaaammmnnnn those flesh tones on #75 are to kill for!
Thanks a lot Suira. That's a very good point. I'll try exploring that in the next series. I use the frontal formal pose way too much.
And Patonki, thanks for popping by, you rock.
Some studies. 10 minutes each.
For CHOW

Wow man, love the sketchbook! It's been a great use of 20 minutes or so, and I'm really happy I looked at it. You draw so much man! I wish I could draw so much, but school and stuff taking up 35 hours of my week and then like 8 hours of homework and studying really limit me to evenings and weekends!
@Dylan: Hahahhaha, now you flatter me. Well, I do spend all the time I can into drawing but I don't really anything else, literally, so I guess there's the tradeoff.
@alrap:Thank you, if only I can draw on the tablet though...
20 minutes. Colors are made up
15 minutes
30 minutes
10 mintues
10
Well, that's like a crappy halfass 10 minutes....
From Game of thrones, 10 minutes each, I think Sansa took a bit longer though.
For CHOW again

And here, a flash of inspiration.
Cow baby trampling gives you stinking feet you know. With how those smelly bits stick on the feet, not even the second coming Jesus can get rid of 'em.

Great work! I like your figures. Keep posting.
Thanks very much Cojac

And I tried using RGB sliders and I fucking loved it!
It just gives so much insight into how color really works in terms of light, as opposed in terms of paint qualities like hue and saturation. It's so much easier to get vibrant colors with RGB. It might seem confusing at first, but trust me, it's way easier to see variations in terms of different components of light rather than hue and saturation.
So here's a rather stylized version of Hillary Clinton.
It's fun exaggerating the color shifts from the ref.

yeah getting to use to the rgb sliders helps load! keep up the good work!
really nice work. lots of it
after looking at the mouse study, id say sometimes its good to just to back to practicing basic shapes in perspective. the mouse proportions might be a little off, though the rendering is good
great work on CHOW robot+girl
Aaron, keep drawing my friend.
I love that angry self portrait.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. I've been doing very few digital paintings recently, so I didn't update at all. Maybe sometime I'll take out my digi cam again and upload all the traditional drawings I've been doing.
@aks9:Yeah, you're totally right. I really need to get more practice with perspective, I have no idea how it works really. Thanks for the crit.
@Nicky:Hahaha, man, thanks a ton. That's funny as hell!
@kidult:Yep, it helped loads.
And here are some crap.

Well, here's a pencil sketch. Name's Pat, she's a woman in her 30s. Been roaming the deserts with a bandit group ever since she was young. But now, she's alone, and very dangerous.
