May 23rd, 2012: New piece> Emersal
Okay here's a new finished thingy I'm rather happy with. It should remind some you of the 2-dragon piece I did a while back (which you can find in my portfolio http://soufmeng.weebly.com/).
This time I resarched bat anatomy to give the dragon more credibility as this one is alone and the largest center of interest in the composition. That said yes there's still some pretty funky
decorative things going on with the wing design that I wanted to keep for... well, decoration : )

February 10th, 2012 : Original Post
Hello!
I am finally allowed to share formerly-under-NDA samples from a Tarot card deck fully illustrated by yours truly from summer 2010 to summer 2011 for French-based client TAROTland.
The full deck comprises 78 illustrations, that is 22 trumps (major arcanas) and 56 suits (minor arcanas).
I'll be pleased to answer questions about this finally finished project!
Justice, the Hanged Man, the Moon and the World.
The World, as the last major arcana, was one of the most important illustration of the entire deck. I painted it at a higher resolution and sort of as a stand-alone piece.
The Emperess/Emperor couple. On this you can see the visual continuity that the client wanted me to design between almost all neighbouring cards.
The suit of Swords
The suit of Coins

And while we're at it, here's the Sagittarius, a sample from the current contract I am working on; the illustration of the 12 zodiac signs. And a personal painting I made to develop the character from this piece.

All feedback is more than welcome!
