Wow, great job on those illustrations!
Wow!!!
Beautiful color~!!
You are absolutely killing it with this stuff, thanks a lot for sharing!
Courula: I don't know what to think of that hand now that you pointed it out.
I understand that it may bother some and at the same time I like how it's relaxed but in a position in which I can sense my own hand would be able to keep such an object from falling.
Same for her neck; I want to invoke poetic licence and say that I kinda like it like that. I must admit I have a tendency to cartoonise a little though, as much as I try to repress it.
Velocity Kendall: Thanks heaps for the info, I really like Blake and researched tarots some but his somehow escaped my radar. The Rider-Waite deck quite grabbed my attention too and Klimt's, oh Klimt...
I updated the first post with new images!
I figured it was better to put them there than scattering them along the thread, what do you think?
Merci/Thanks all for the feedback!
Some nice, fine stuff in this lot.
Cheers,
kev

Thank you, Kev. Always a pleasure to hear that from you.
Ok, I updated the first post with a new image. It's called Emersal. Dragon pieces are fun as I feel they give me quite a good excuse to play around with cloud environments without boring the pants off everyone hehe.
I hope you like it and if you don't keep the crits and comments coming!
Dragon wings.
Beautiful work, Soufiane.
Niice works! Really like the natural lighting and mood in your works (yes that sagitarius, especially). and that polyptych is particularly helpful. Thanks for sharing all of these. Beautiful!

you got. to. be. kidding. me. ...what is it with all these people poping out of nowhere being awesome these days ..... *murmuring*
really great work, and the idea and the execution!
First off I think your work is incredible...an amazing amount of skill.
There is however just one thing that bothers me :/ the girl with the bottle of wine and the sword, leaning on the barrel. The sword appears to be mounted on her right side. This is typically uncommon. Swords were holstered on the left side allowing them to be drawn with the right hand. Unless she happens to be left handed of coursehowever, your skill is profound. Great great work!!!
Beautiful work man! I love the last 2 pieces. Keep posting

Very impressive works! Thank you for sharing these and the inspiration..
Thanks all for the kind words and comments!
I've just updated the first post with 2 new images.
The sunset scene is sublime. Would very happily live with that in my house.
Ah that makes sense I was just about to ask what was going on in the cave under the capricorn. I really like your work for the tecnical brilliance alone but it is the little details and extra dimensions that you put in your work like the herculean references and for example the visiual continuency in the tarots that really makes me a fan. That being said my absolute favorite of your pictures here is the relatively simple character portrait of the girl with the green bottle. She just seem so real to me.
As everyone else said the World is stunning. Could you tell us about some of the symbolism? I figure that the animals are the symbols of the apostles and the little figure is Jesus maybe? I'm curious about the rod and the bottle and the cloth turning in to a snake. I also like the little detail of the egg in the bottom.
I also agree with you that it is a good idea to post your updates in the first post because of the mass off appreciative comments we have to read past to get to the good stuff if you had posted it in a jumble.![]()
